فقيه لـ«عكاظ»: العميد استحق «الدوري والكأس»

Member of the Board of Directors of Al-Ittihad Club, Engineer Abdulilah Faqih, confirmed to "Okaz" that the football team successfully achieved the precious King's Cup against Al-Qadisiyah with a score of 1/3, deserving and earning the title, which was presented by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz on a golden night.

Faqih explained that the club deserved both the King's Cup and the Roshan Saudi Professional League, indicating that they in the Board of Directors are extremely happy with what the first football team achieved last season. He added that working with a team spirit contributed to leading Al-Ittihad to win both titles and bring joy to the fans of the club.

Faqih praised the great work done by the sports administration in preparing all the resources that enabled the coaching staff, led by coach Blanc and captain Benzema along with their fellow players, to compete for the titles. They managed to present a wonderful technical level and win the King's Cup and the Roshan Saudi Professional League.

Faqih commended the Al-Ittihad fans who strongly supported the football team and proved, as usual, that they are number one, deserving to celebrate the titles of the King's Cup and the league.
