Sources from "Okaz" have indicated that the atmosphere within Al-Ahli Club has approached a state of calm regarding the fate of the first team football coach, Matthias Jaissle, and the doubts about his continuation that arose in the past period. The sources revealed that the German coach will remain in his position for the upcoming sports season, completing his contract with the club, which ends at the conclusion of the next season.

"Okaz" learned that several meetings were held in the past few days between the club's management and coach Jaissle, during which a point of agreement was reached between the two parties, including an increase in his salary for the upcoming season, along with a promise to renew his contract and another increase in the annual salary linked to the results achieved by the team in the upcoming season.

Meanwhile, sources from "Okaz" denied any official negotiations that took place between Al-Ahli Club and Spanish coach Xavi Hernandez in the past few days.

It is worth mentioning that Al-Ahli Club signed Matthias Jaissle in October 2023, coming from Red Bull Salzburg in Austria, and Jaissle succeeded in winning the AFC Champions League for the elite with Al-Ahli for the first time in the club's history.
