وكتبت فيكتوريا فيلارويل عبر حسابها على منصة «إكس»: «سنلعب أمام القراصنة المغتصبين، إنها ليست مباراة عادية، لن أكون دبلوماسية أو باردة المشاعر؛ فالمواجهة أمام الإنجليز تعني دائماً أكثر من مجرد مباراة، إنها تذكرنا بجزر المالوين (فوكلاند)، ودييغو مارادونا، كما أنها آخر بطولة لميسي، وهي أيضاً فرصة لوضع حد للمعتدين، تحيا الأرجنتين! سنواصل المطالبة بحقنا حتى آخر نفس».
