حقق قائد منتخب إنجلترا هاري كين إنجازاً تاريخياً جديداً بعدما تواجد في التشكيلة الأساسية أمام الأرجنتين، اليوم (الأربعاء)، ضمن منافسات دور نصف النهائي من بطولة كأس العالم 2026.
كين الأكثر مشاركة بين لاعبي إنجلترا
وبحسب شبكة «سكواكا» المتخصصة في إحصائيات كرة القدم، أصبح كين أكثر اللاعبين الميدانيين مشاركةً في تاريخ منتخب إنجلترا، باستثناء حراس المرمى، بعدما رفع رصيده إلى 121 مباراة، محطماً الرقم القياسي السابق المسجل باسم المهاجم واين روني (120 مباراة).
ويظل حارس المرمى السابق بيتر شيلتون اللاعب الأكثر مشاركة بقميص منتخب إنجلترا برصيد 125 مباراة.
رابع هدافي المونديال
ويحتل كين المركز الرابع في ترتيب هدافي بطولة كأس العالم 2026 برصيد 6 أهداف، خلف ليونيل ميسي وكيليان مبابي (8 أهداف لكل منهما)، وإيرلينغ هالاند (7 أهداف).
إنجلترا تطارد اللقب الغائب
ويحمل منتخب الأرجنتين لقب النسخة الماضية من كأس العالم، فيما يبحث المنتخب الإنجليزي عن لقبه الثاني في البطولة، والأول منذ 60 عاماً، إذ يعود تتويجه الوحيد إلى نسخة 1966.

According to the specialized football statistics network "Squawka," Kane has become the most capped outfield player in the history of the England national team, excluding goalkeepers, after raising his tally to 121 matches, breaking the previous record held by striker Wayne Rooney (120 matches).
The former goalkeeper Peter Shilton remains the player with the most appearances for the England national team, with a total of 125 matches.
Fourth Top Scorer of the World Cup
Kane is currently in fourth place in the scoring rankings of the 2026 World Cup with 6 goals, behind Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappé (8 goals each), and Erling Haaland (7 goals).
England Chasing the Elusive Title
The Argentina national team holds the title from the last World Cup, while the England team is seeking its second title in the tournament, and its first in 60 years, as its only victory dates back to the 1966 edition.
