فشل فريق توتنهام في تحقيق الفوز للمباراة الحادية عشرة على التوالي في مسابقة الدوري الإنجليزي «بريميرليغ»، بعد سقوطه أمام ضيفه كريستال بالاس بثلاثة أهداف مقابل هدف في اللقاء الذي أُقيم مساء (الخميس) على ملعب «توتنهام هوتسبير»، ضمن منافسات الجولة الـ29.
افتتح توتنهام التسجيل في الدقيقة 34 عن طريق مهاجمه دومينيك سولانكي، لكن «السبيرز» انهار بشكل مفاجئ قبل نهاية الشوط الأول، إذ رد بالاس بثلاثة أهداف بعد طرد ميكي فان دي فين مدافع توتنهام.
وقام فان دي فين بجذب إسماعيلا سار داخل منطقة الجزاء، ليحصل المدافع على بطاقة حمراء ويحصل الفريق الضيف على ركلة جزاء سجلها سار في الدقيقة 40.
وبعدها بست دقائق، سجل يورغن ستراند لارسن الهدف الثاني لصالح كريستال بالاس، ثم عاد إسماعيلا سار لتسجيل الهدف الثالث للضيوف في الدقيقة 45+7.

بهذه النتيجة، رفع كريستال بالاس رصيده إلى 38 نقطة في المركز الثالث عشر بجدول ترتيب البريميرليغ، بينما تجمد رصيد توتنهام عند 29 نقطة في المركز السادس عشر، بفارق نقطة عن منطقة الهبوط.
Tottenham failed to achieve victory for the eleventh consecutive match in the English Premier League after falling to their guest Crystal Palace with a score of three goals to one in the match that took place on Thursday evening at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as part of the 29th round of the competition.
Tottenham opened the scoring in the 34th minute through their striker Dominic Solanke, but the "Spurs" collapsed unexpectedly before the end of the first half, as Palace responded with three goals after the red card given to Tottenham defender Mickey van de Ven.
Van de Ven pulled Ismaïla Sarr inside the penalty area, resulting in the defender receiving a red card and the visiting team being awarded a penalty kick, which Sarr converted in the 40th minute.
Six minutes later, Jürgen Strand Larsen scored the second goal for Crystal Palace, and then Ismaïla Sarr returned to score the third goal for the visitors in the 45+7 minute.
Team Standings
With this result, Crystal Palace raised their tally to 38 points in thirteenth place in the Premier League table, while Tottenham's points remained at 29 in sixteenth place, just one point above the relegation zone.
