أعلن نادي بورتو البرتغالي، اليوم (السبت)، عودة المدافع المخضرم تياغو سيلفا إلى صفوفه، بعد نحو 20 عاماً من رحيله عن النادي.
عقد حتى نهاية الموسم
وقال النادي البرتغالي، في بيان عبر موقعه الإلكتروني، إن تياغو سيلفا وقّع عقداً مع بورتو يمتد حتى نهاية الموسم الحالي، مع خيار التمديد لموسم إضافي، في صفقة انتقال حر، عقب انتهاء عقده مع فلومينينسي البرازيلي.
عودة بعد مسيرة طويلة
ويعود المدافع البرازيلي، البالغ من العمر 41 عاماً، إلى النادي الذي سبق أن دافع عن ألوانه خلال موسم 2004-2005، حين كان يلعب ضمن صفوف فريق بورتو الرديف.
مسيرة حافلة بالألقاب
وخلال فترته القصيرة مع بورتو، خاض سيلفا 14 مباراة، قبل أن ينتقل إلى دينامو موسكو الروسي، ثم واصل مسيرته مع أندية أوروبية عريقة، أبرزها ميلان وباريس سان جيرمان وتشيلسي، وخاض مع كلٍ منها أكثر من 100 مباراة، وكان عنصراً أساسياً في تشكيلاتها، وبلغ عدد ألقابه خلال مسيرته الكروية 31 لقباً.
The Portuguese club Porto announced today (Saturday) the return of veteran defender Thiago Silva to its ranks, nearly 20 years after his departure from the club.
Contract until the end of the season
The Portuguese club stated in a statement on its website that Thiago Silva has signed a contract with Porto that extends until the end of the current season, with an option to extend for an additional season, in a free transfer deal following the expiration of his contract with Brazilian club Fluminense.
Return after a long career
The 41-year-old Brazilian defender returns to the club he previously represented during the 2004-2005 season when he played for the Porto reserve team.
A career full of titles
During his brief time with Porto, Silva played 14 matches before moving to Dynamo Moscow in Russia, and then continued his career with prestigious European clubs, most notably AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, and Chelsea, playing over 100 matches with each of them and being a key player in their lineups. Throughout his football career, he has won a total of 31 titles.
