The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) has announced the launch of a draft project for the "Regulations for Managing and Operating Cash Centers" to solicit public feedback from interested parties and specialists, through the "Survey" platform of the National Competitiveness Center.

Enhancing Trust

This project comes as part of the Saudi Central Bank's objectives to maintain monetary stability, support the stability of the financial sector, enhance trust in it, and support economic growth, alongside the central bank's supervisory and regulatory role over the financial institutions it oversees, issuing relevant regulations and instructions, in addition to organizing matters related to cash management and all other related activities. The project is designed to regulate the management and operation of cash centers, establishing a clear framework that defines the controls and standards that must be adhered to.

Feedback and comments on the draft project for the "Regulations for Managing and Operating Cash Centers" will be accepted for 15 days, and will be reviewed after the specified period to finalize the document.
