تأجلت عودة فريق برشلونة الإسباني إلى ملعب كامب نو بعد أن أعلن بطل إسبانيا، اليوم (الخميس)، أن الملعب لن يكون جاهزا لاستضافة مباراته القادمة في دوري أبطال أوروبا ضد أولمبياكوس اليوناني.
وكان نادي برشلونة يأمل في الحصول على تصريح من مجلس المدينة في الوقت المناسب لمباراته الثالثة في دوري الأبطال المقررة في 21 أكتوبر الجاري، من دون أن يتمكن من ذلك، وبالتالي ستُقام تلك المباراة على ملعب لويس كومبانيس، حيث خسر برشلونة 2-1 أمام باريس سان جرمان في المسابقة القارية أمس (الأربعاء).
وقال برشلونة في بيان نشره عبر موقعه الرسمي في الشبكة العنكبوتية: يعلن نادي برشلونة بأن المباراة الثالثة في دور المجموعات بدوري أبطال أوروبا، المقرر إجراؤها يوم الثلاثاء 21 أكتوبر ضد أولمبياكوس، ستقام على ملعب لويس كومبانيس الأولمبي، إذ يواصل النادي العمل للحصول على التصاريح الإدارية اللازمة لافتتاح ملعب الكامب نو في الأيام القادمة. وفي هذا الإطار، يعمل نادي برشلونة على التعديلات الجديدة التي أطلع مجلس مدينة برشلونة النادي عليها الأسبوع الماضي.
وبعد أكثر من عامين من بدء أعمال التجديد، لا يزال الملعب الشهير غير جاهز لاستضافة المباريات حتى مع انخفاض سعته.
ومن المتوقع أن تبلغ السعة النهائية لملعب كامب نو 105 آلاف متفرج، وكان من المقرر أن يُفتتح في نوفمبر 2024، لكن الأعمال تأخرت مرات عدة.

The return of the Spanish team Barcelona to Camp Nou has been postponed after the Spanish champion announced today (Thursday) that the stadium will not be ready to host its upcoming match in the UEFA Champions League against Greek team Olympiacos.
Barcelona had hoped to obtain a permit from the city council in time for its third match in the Champions League scheduled for October 21, but was unable to do so. Therefore, that match will be held at the Estadi Lluís Companys, where Barcelona lost 2-1 to Paris Saint-Germain in the continental competition yesterday (Wednesday).
Barcelona stated in a statement published on its official website: "FC Barcelona announces that the third match in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League, scheduled to take place on Tuesday, October 21 against Olympiacos, will be held at the Estadi Lluís Companys. The club continues to work on obtaining the necessary administrative permits to open Camp Nou in the coming days. In this context, FC Barcelona is working on the new modifications that the Barcelona City Council informed the club about last week."
After more than two years since the renovation work began, the famous stadium is still not ready to host matches, even with its reduced capacity.
The final capacity of Camp Nou is expected to be 105,000 spectators, and it was scheduled to open in November 2024, but the work has been delayed several times.
