تكبّد ليفربول الهزيمة الأولى في الدوري الإنجليزي (بريميرليغ) هذا الموسم أمام مُضيفه كريستال بالاس بهدفين مقابل هدف، في المباراة التي جمعتهما اليوم (السبت) على ملعب «سيلهرست بارك»، ضمن منافسات الجولة السادسة.
أنهى كريستال بالاس الشوط الأول متقدماً بهدف نظيف، سجله اللاعب إسماعيلا سار في الدقيقة التاسعة.
واحتاج «الريدز» إلى 87 دقيقة لزيارة شباك كريستال بالاس، عن طريق الإيطالي فيديريكو كييزا، لكن إدي نيكيتاه ردّ بهدف قاتل لأصحاب الأرض في الدقيقة 90+7.

ورغم الهزيمة، يظل ليفربول في صدارة الدوري الإنجليزي برصيد 15 نقطة، فيما تقدّم كريستال بالاس إلى المركز الثاني -مؤقتاً- بـ12 نقطة.
Liverpool suffered their first defeat in the English Premier League this season against their hosts Crystal Palace, with a score of two goals to one, in the match that took place today (Saturday) at Selhurst Park, as part of the sixth round of the competition.
Crystal Palace finished the first half leading with a clean goal, scored by player Ismaila Sarr in the ninth minute.
The "Reds" needed 87 minutes to find the net against Crystal Palace, through Italian Federico Chiesa, but Eddie Nketiah responded with a last-minute goal for the home team in the 90+7 minute.

Despite the defeat, Liverpool remains at the top of the English league with 15 points, while Crystal Palace has moved up to second place - temporarily - with 12 points.
