أكد رولاند فيركوس، المدير الرياضي لنادي بوروسيا مونشنغلادباخ الألماني، أن صفقة انتقال لاعب الوسط جوليان فايغل إلى نادي الشباب السعودي لم تُحسم بعد.
وكان فايغل قد غاب عن مواجهة فريقه أمام هامبورغ، التي أُقيمت السبت الماضي ضمن الجولة الافتتاحية من الدوري الألماني، بسبب المفاوضات الجارية بشأن انتقاله المُحتمل إلى الشباب.
وقال فيركوس في تصريح خاص لـ«عكاظ» تعليقاً على مفاوضات الشباب: «لم يحدث انتقال رسمي حتى الآن».
ورفض المدير الرياضي الإفصاح عن أي تفاصيل إضافية تتعلق بمرحلة المفاوضات الحالية.
ويمتد عقد فايغل مع بوروسيا مونشنغلادباخ حتى يونيو 2028، وتُقدّر قيمته السوقية بنحو ستة ملايين يورو، وفقاً لموقع «ترانسفير ماركت».
وشارك فايغل في 35 مباراة مع الفريق في مختلف المسابقات خلال الموسم الماضي (2024–2025)، وقدم تمريرتين حاسمتين.
Roland Virkus, the sporting director of Borussia Mönchengladbach, confirmed that the transfer of midfielder Julian Weigl to Saudi Al-Shabab has not been finalized yet.
Weigl missed his team's match against Hamburg, which took place last Saturday in the opening round of the German league, due to ongoing negotiations regarding his potential transfer to Al-Shabab.
Virkus stated in a special comment to "Okaz" regarding the negotiations with Al-Shabab: "No official transfer has happened yet."
The sporting director refused to disclose any additional details related to the current stage of negotiations.
Weigl's contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach extends until June 2028, and his market value is estimated at around six million euros, according to "Transfermarkt."
Weigl participated in 35 matches with the team across various competitions during the last season (2024–2025), providing two assists.
