وجّه الاتحاد الفلسطيني لكرة القدم رسالة شكر وتقدير إلى نظيره النرويجي عقب قراره تخصيص عائدات مباراة منتخبه ضد إسرائيل لدعم جهود الإغاثة في غزة.
وقال الاتحاد الفلسطيني في بيان: «يعرب الاتحاد الفلسطيني لكرة القدم عن تقديره العميق للاتحاد النرويجي على قراره المبدئي والإنساني بتخصيص عائدات بيع التذاكر من مباراة النرويج المقبلة في تصفيات كأس العالم أمام إسرائيل لدعم جهود الإغاثة في غزة».
وأضاف البيان: «إن هذه الخطوة تتجاوز حدود الرياضة، فهي رسالة قوية بأن كرة القدم لا يمكن أن تبقى صامتة أمام الظلم والمعاناة الإنسانية المستمرة. قرار الاتحاد النرويجي يؤكد الدور الأخلاقي لكرة القدم في الدفاع عن القيم الإنسانية والكرامة واحترام الحياة».
وتابع: «ندعو بقية الاتحادات والمؤسسات والجهات الرياضية حول العالم إلى أن تحذو حذو هذا الموقف الشجاع، وأن تقف إلى جانب الشعب الفلسطيني، خاصة رياضييه وشبابه الذين يواصلون المعاناة تحت وطأة الاحتلال والإبادة».
وختم البيان: «يؤكد الاتحاد الفلسطيني لكرة القدم التزامه بالدفاع عن نزاهة اللعبة، وحماية روحها الإنسانية، وضمان ألّا تكون كرة القدم أداة متواطئة في انتهاك حقوق الإنسان».
The Palestinian Football Association sent a message of thanks and appreciation to its Norwegian counterpart following its decision to allocate the proceeds from its match against Israel to support relief efforts in Gaza.

The statement added: "This step transcends the boundaries of sports; it is a powerful message that football cannot remain silent in the face of ongoing injustice and human suffering. The Norwegian Association's decision affirms the moral role of football in defending human values, dignity, and respect for life."
It continued: "We call on other federations, institutions, and sports entities around the world to follow this brave stance and stand by the Palestinian people, especially its athletes and youth who continue to suffer under the weight of occupation and extermination."
The statement concluded: "The Palestinian Football Association reaffirms its commitment to defending the integrity of the game, protecting its humanitarian spirit, and ensuring that football is not a complicit tool in violating human rights."
