أعلن نادي ليفربول الإنجليزي التوقيع مع اللاعب كريم أحمد خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية ليكون ثاني لاعب مصري يرتدي قميص فريق الريدز بعد قائد منتخب مصر ونجم ليفربول محمد صلاح، الذي يُعد واحداً من أبرز هدافي النادي في تاريخه.
والتحق المهاجم المصري 18 عاماً بأكاديمية النادي الإنجليزي منذ أن كان في السادسة من عمره، ولفت الأنظار سريعاً خلال السنوات الماضية نظير ما يمتلكه من موهبة ملفتة إذ نجح في تسجيل هدف خلال أول مشاركة له مع فريق ليفربول تحت 18 عاماً في ديسمبر 2022، وذلك خلال مواجهة في كأس الاتحاد الإنجليزي للشباب أمام بورنموث، إضافة إلى تألقه الموسم الفائت مع فريق تحت 18 عاماً. مسجلاً 7 أهداف و5 تمريرات حاسمة، فضلاً عن مشاركته في دوري أبطال أوروبا للشباب أمام فريقَي بولونيا ولايبزيج.

The English club Liverpool announced the signing of player Karim Ahmed during the summer transfer window, making him the second Egyptian player to wear the Reds' jersey after the captain of the Egyptian national team and Liverpool star Mohamed Salah, who is considered one of the club's top scorers in its history.
The 18-year-old Egyptian forward joined the English club's academy when he was six years old and quickly caught attention over the past few years due to his remarkable talent. He succeeded in scoring a goal during his first appearance with the Liverpool Under-18 team in December 2022, during a match in the FA Youth Cup against Bournemouth, in addition to his outstanding performance last season with the Under-18 team, scoring 7 goals and providing 5 assists, as well as participating in the UEFA Youth Champions League against Bologna and Leipzig.
