The Quad Group (Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan, and Turkey) strongly condemned the ongoing hostile attacks launched by the Houthi militia against the Kingdom, including the heinous attacks that targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, resulting in the deaths and injuries of several civilians, as well as causing damage to infrastructure and civilian facilities, which constitutes a blatant violation of international law.
The group affirmed in a joint statement that these attacks represent a blatant assault on the sovereignty of the Kingdom and its territorial integrity, a direct threat to its security, stability, and the safety of civilians, and a serious escalation that cannot be justified or accepted under any pretext. It announced its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and support for all legitimate measures and steps it takes to confront these attacks, deter sources of threat, and prevent their recurrence, in defense of the Kingdom's security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and to protect the safety of its citizens and residents, in accordance with the United Nations Charter and international law.
The group held the Houthi militia fully responsible for these attacks and the resulting consequences that threaten regional and international peace and security, demanding an immediate and unconditional cessation of these attacks.
