تكبدت مليشيا الحوثي خسائر جديدة خلال الـ24 ساعة الماضية في صفوف قياداتها الميدانية، بمقتل ثمانية من قيادات الصف الثاني خلال المعارك الدائرة في جبهات جنوب وغربي تعز، بينهم قيادات من قوات النخبة التي تلقت تدريبات على يد خبراء إيرانيين، وفق مصادر يمنية موثوقة لـ«عكاظ».
وقالت المصادر إن القيادات الحوثية دفعت إلى جبهات تعز في محاولة لتحقيق اختراق وإعادة تطويق المحافظة والتقدم باتجاه لحج، إلا أن الهجوم انتهى بمقتل عدد من أبرز العناصر الميدانية التي كانت تراهن عليها المليشيا لتحقيق تقدم عسكري.
وأوضحت المصادر أن محمد عبدالله العويري المكنى (أبو مالك العويري)، المنتحل صفة مدير أمن مديرية العدين بمحافظة إب، قُتل مع عدد من المسلحين الذين كان يقودهم في جبل جرداد جنوب غربي تعز.
القيادي الحوثي العويري
وأفادت المصادر بأن أبو مالك كان من المقربين للقيادي الحوثي الصريع صالح الصماد وتدرب على يد خبراء إيرانيين ومن ضمن العناصر التي سافرت إلى طهران في عام 2015.
وأشارت المصادر إلى أن القيادات الميدانية مقتدى العصار، وفؤاد المهدي، وعلي الحمزي، وسفيان الحمامي، وحسين السراجي قُتلوا إلى جانب أبو مالك في المعارك خلال الساعات الماضية، موضحة أن القيادات التي قتلت جميعها تنتمي إلى محافظتي صنعاء وصعدة، فضلاً عن عدد من المسلحين الذين كانوا يقودونهم.
في الوقت ذاته، أكدت مصادر إعلامية يمنية مقتل القياديين الحوثيين عبدالسلام إبراهيم علي أحمد أبوراجح المأخذي، المنتحل رتبة مقدم، وحسن علي عناش المأخذي، المنتحل رتبة الرائد، وهما من أسرة واحدة من أبناء منطقة الحجز في بني جرادي بمحافظة عمران، أثناء مشاركتهما في القتال ضمن صفوف مليشيا الحوثي.
وبحسب المصادر فإن هذه القيادات التي دفعت بها المليشيا بعد الخسائر والفشل الذريع في تحقيق تقدم تمثل قوات النخبة في المليشيا والتي كان يعتقد الحوثي أنها يمكنهم تحقيق اختراق مما يمكنهم من إعادة تطويق تعز والتقدم نحو محافظة لحج جنوب اليمن.
وكان رئيس الأركان قوات درع الوطن اللواء عبدالرحمن اللحجي، توعد بإلحاق الهزائم بالحوثيين، مؤكداً أن الصبيحة الذين يخوض أبناؤها معارك ضد الحوثي بإسناد سعودي لن تكون طريقًا لعودة مليشيا الحوثي إلى عدن.
وقال اللحجي: إن من قاتل مليشيا الحوثي في أرضها بصعدة لن يسلمها أرض الجنوب وأن المعركة مستمرة وأن الحرب سجال وللحوثي ومن يدعمه الخزي والعار، موضحًا أن القوات مؤمنة بالنصر القريب.
من جهة ثانية، خرج أبناء محافظة تعز أمس من التجار والمواطنين في قافلة غذائية دعمًا للمرابطين من قوات الجيش في الصفوف الأولى في جبهات التماس، وبحسب المصادر فإن جميع الأسر في المحافظة شاركت في إعداد الأكل للمقاتلين، فيما قدم التجار أنواع مختلفة من التموينات.
The Houthi militia has suffered new losses over the past 24 hours among its field leaders, with the death of eight second-tier leaders during the ongoing battles in the southern and western fronts of Taiz, including leaders from the elite forces who received training from Iranian experts, according to reliable Yemeni sources for "Okaz".
The sources stated that the Houthi leaders were sent to the fronts in Taiz in an attempt to achieve a breakthrough and re-encircle the governorate and advance towards Lahij, but the attack ended with the death of several prominent field elements on whom the militia had relied to achieve military progress.
The sources clarified that Mohammed Abdullah Al-Owairi, known as (Abu Malik Al-Owairi), who impersonated the position of Director of Security for the Al-Adain District in Ibb Governorate, was killed along with several armed men he was leading in Jabal Jirad in southwestern Taiz.

The sources reported that Abu Malik was close to the Houthi leader the deceased Saleh Al-Sammad and had trained under Iranian experts, being among the elements that traveled to Tehran in 2015.
The sources pointed out that the field leaders Muqtada Al-Asar, Fouad Al-Mahdi, Ali Al-Hamzi, Sufyan Al-Hamami, and Hussein Al-Saraji were killed alongside Abu Malik in the battles over the past hours, noting that all the killed leaders belong to the governorates of Sana'a and Saada, in addition to several armed men they were leading.
At the same time, Yemeni media sources confirmed the deaths of Houthi leaders Abdul Salam Ibrahim Ali Ahmed Abu Rajeh Al-Mahdhi, who impersonated the rank of Major, and Hassan Ali Anash Al-Mahdhi, who impersonated the rank of Captain, both from the same family from the Al-Hajz area in Bani Jaradi in Amran Governorate, while participating in the fighting within the ranks of the Houthi militia.
According to the sources, these leaders were sent by the militia after the losses and the abysmal failure to achieve progress, representing the elite forces in the militia, which the Houthis believed could achieve a breakthrough that would allow them to re-encircle Taiz and advance towards Lahij Governorate in southern Yemen.
The Chief of Staff of the National Shield Forces, Major General Abdul Rahman Al-Lahji, vowed to inflict defeats on the Houthis, emphasizing that the people of Al-Sabiah, whose sons are fighting against the Houthis with Saudi support, will not allow the Houthi militia to return to Aden.
Al-Lahji stated that those who fought the Houthi militia on their ground in Saada will not surrender the land of the south, and that the battle is ongoing, with the war being a back-and-forth struggle, and for the Houthis and their supporters, there is disgrace and shame, clarifying that the forces are confident of imminent victory.
On another note, the people of Taiz Governorate, including traders and citizens, organized a food convoy yesterday in support of the troops stationed in the front lines at the contact points. According to sources, all families in the governorate participated in preparing food for the fighters, while traders provided various types of supplies.
