أدانت وزارة الخارجية بمملكة البحرين بأشد العبارات استهداف خط أنابيب النفط شرق - غرب في منطقتي الرياض والمدينة المنورة بعدة مسيّرات قادمة من العراق، وما نتج عنه من إصابات بشرية وأضرار مادية، معتبرةً ذلك انتهاكًا صارخًا للقانون الدولي وميثاق الأمم المتحدة ومبادئ حسن الجوار، واعتداءً على منشآت مدنية حيوية تمسّ أمن إمدادات الطاقة.
وأكدت الوزارة تضامن مملكة البحرين التام مع المملكة العربية السعودية، وأن أمنها واستقرارها جزء لا يتجزأ من أمن مملكة البحرين واستقرارها، مشددةً على حقها في اتخاذ كل ما يلزم من إجراءات لحماية سيادتها وأمنها ومنشآتها ومواطنيها والمقيمين على أرضها وفقًا لأحكام القانون الدولي، ومعربةً عن تمنياتها بالشفاء العاجل للمصابين.
وشددت الوزارة على ضرورة عدم استخدام أراضي أي دولة منطلقًا للاعتداء على دول الجوار، مؤكدةً دعمها للجهود التي تبذلها جمهورية العراق لمنع تكرار مثل هذه الاعتداءات، وداعيةً المجتمع الدولي إلى الاضطلاع بمسؤولياته في التصدي لهذه الهجمات العدائية التي تستهدف الإضرار بأمن الطاقة وزعزعة الأمن والاستقرار الإقليمي.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned the targeting of the East-West oil pipeline in the Riyadh and Medina regions by several drones coming from Iraq, which resulted in human injuries and material damages. It considered this a blatant violation of international law, the United Nations Charter, and the principles of good neighborliness, as well as an attack on vital civilian facilities that affect energy supply security.
The ministry affirmed the complete solidarity of the Kingdom of Bahrain with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stating that its security and stability are an integral part of the security and stability of the Kingdom of Bahrain. It emphasized its right to take all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty, security, facilities, citizens, and residents on its territory in accordance with international law, and expressed its wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.
The ministry stressed the necessity of not using the territory of any state as a launch pad for attacks on neighboring countries, reaffirming its support for the efforts made by the Republic of Iraq to prevent the recurrence of such attacks, and calling on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities in countering these hostile attacks that aim to harm energy security and destabilize regional security and stability.
