حذرت وزارة الداخلية اليمنية اليوم (السبت) مواطنيها في المحافظات المحررة بشكل عام، ومحافظتي تعز والحديدة بشكل خاص، من الانجرار وراء حملة تنفذها مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية عبر إرسال رسائل نصية باستخدام شبكتي الاتصالات «يمن موبايل» و«يو»، اللتين استولت عليهما بعد انقلابها على الدولة عام 2014، موضحة أن الرسائل تتضمن دعوات لما تسميه المليشيا «العفو والعودة».
ونقلت وكالة الأنباء اليمنية (سبأ) عن مصدر أمني بالوزارة قوله: هذه الرسائل تأتي في إطار حملة ممنهجة للحرب النفسية والتضليل والاستدراج، تستهدف التأثير على اليمنيين ومعنوياتهم واستغلال أوضاعهم، من خلال توظيف شبكات الاتصالات وسيلةً لتمرير مخططاتها الإرهابية، ومحاولة استدراج المواطنين والحصول على معلومات وبيانات تحت ضغوط تُمارس عليهم قد تُستغل لأغراض أمنية.
ودعا المصدر اليمنيين كافة إلى عدم الانجرار وراء هذه الرسائل أو الاستجابة لمضامينها، وعدم الاتصال بالأرقام الواردة فيها أو تقديم أي بيانات أو معلومات شخصية، وعدم إعادة نشرها أو المساهمة في تداولها، باعتبارها جزءًا من حملة تضليل وحرب نفسية تستهدف المجتمع.
كما دعا المصدر الجهات المختصة في قطاع الاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات إلى التعامل العاجل والمسؤول مع استغلال شبكات الاتصالات والإنترنت من قبل مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية، واتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية والفنية اللازمة لحماية مواطنيها، ومنع استخدام خدمات الاتصالات في تنفيذ حملات التضليل والاستدراج التي تستهدف اليمنيين في المحافظات المحررة.
وحذر المصدر من خطورة الوقوع ضحية لأساليب الاستدراج والتضليل التي تنتهجها مليشيا الحوثي، مؤكدًا أن تجارب سابقة أظهرت أن الاستجابة لمثل هذه الدعوات قد تقود إلى عواقب وخيمة، حيث انتهى مصير عدد ممن وقعوا ضحايا لهذه الأساليب إلى سجون المليشيا، وتعرضوا للتعذيب والتنكيل والإخفاء القسري.
ودعا المصدر المواطنين إلى التحلي بأعلى درجات الوعي واليقظة، وعدم الانخداع بمثل هذه الدعوات الحوثية أو الاستجابة لها، مؤكدًا أن وعي المواطن ويقظته يمثلان خط الدفاع الأول في حماية المجتمع ومواجهة حملات التضليل والاستدراج والحرب النفسية التي تشنها مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية المدعومة من إيران.
The Yemeni Ministry of Interior warned its citizens today (Saturday) in the liberated provinces in general, and in the provinces of Taiz and Hodeidah in particular, against falling for a campaign being carried out by the Houthi terrorist militia through sending text messages using the telecommunications networks "Yemen Mobile" and "You," which it seized after its coup against the state in 2014. The messages include calls for what the militia calls "amnesty and return."
The Yemeni News Agency (Saba) quoted a security source in the ministry as saying: These messages come as part of a systematic campaign for psychological warfare, deception, and entrapment, aimed at affecting Yemenis and their morale and exploiting their situations, by employing telecommunications networks as a means to pass its terrorist schemes, and attempting to lure citizens and obtain information and data under pressures exerted on them that could be exploited for security purposes.
The source called on all Yemenis not to fall for these messages or respond to their contents, not to contact the numbers mentioned in them, or provide any personal data or information, and not to repost or contribute to their circulation, considering them part of a disinformation campaign and psychological warfare targeting society.
The source also urged the relevant authorities in the telecommunications and information technology sector to take urgent and responsible action against the exploitation of telecommunications and internet networks by the Houthi terrorist militia, and to take the necessary legal and technical measures to protect its citizens, and prevent the use of telecommunications services in executing disinformation and entrapment campaigns targeting Yemenis in the liberated provinces.
The source warned of the dangers of falling victim to the entrapment and deception methods employed by the Houthi militia, emphasizing that previous experiences have shown that responding to such calls could lead to dire consequences, as the fate of several who fell victim to these methods ended up in the militia's prisons, where they were subjected to torture, abuse, and enforced disappearance.
The source called on citizens to maintain the highest levels of awareness and vigilance, and not to be deceived by such Houthi calls or respond to them, affirming that the awareness and vigilance of citizens represent the first line of defense in protecting society and confronting the disinformation, entrapment, and psychological warfare campaigns waged by the Houthi terrorist militia supported by Iran.
