أكد المتحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية الباكستانية، طاهر أندرابي، اليوم (الخميس)، أن إسلام آباد تواصل جهودها من أجل التوصل إلى حل لأزمة الشرق الأوسط.
ونفى أندرابي، خلال مؤتمر صحفي أسبوعي، نقل قائد الجيش الباكستاني الجنرال عاصم منير رسائل جديدة من الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب إلى إيران خلال الأيام الماضية، مشددًا بالقول: «ما أُثير حول نقل الجنرال منير رسائل للإيرانيين خلال زيارته الأخيرة غير صحيح».
وأوضح أن زيارة قائد الجيش الباكستاني عاصم منير إلى طهران جاءت في إطار الوساطة بين إيران والولايات المتحدة، مبينًا أنها ركزت على وضع حد للجمود الحالي والعودة إلى استئناف الجهود الرامية إلى إعادة الاستقرار والسلام الإقليميين.
وأشار إلى أن الزيارة كان هدفها إعطاء دفعة للجهود الرامية إلى فتح مضيق هرمز، مبينًا أن إسلام آباد تواصل مع الدول الصديقة للوساطة بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران، وأنها تدعم كل الجهود الرامية إلى تحقيق السلام والتوصل إلى تسوية عادلة للصراع.
وأشاد المتحدث باسم الخارجية الباكستانية بالعلاقات التجارية بين باكستان وإيران، لافتًا إلى أن بلاده لديها الرغبة في تعزيز روابط التجارة مع طهران.
في غضون ذلك، أظهرت بيانات شركة «كبلر»، اليوم، أن حركة الملاحة البحرية في مضيق هرمز لا تزال ضعيفة في ظل استمرار الجمود بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران، رغم الأنباء الواردة عن المحادثات بين طهران ومسقط بشأن المضيق.
وأفادت بيانات «كبلر» بأن حركة سفن نقل السلع الأولية عبر مضيق هرمز أمس (الأربعاء) ارتفعت مقارنة بيوم الثلاثاء، لكنها ظلت دون متوسطها خلال الأيام العشرة الماضية.

Andrabi denied, during a weekly press conference, that the Pakistani Army Chief General Asim Munir conveyed new messages from U.S. President Donald Trump to Iran in recent days, emphasizing: "What has been raised about General Munir conveying messages to the Iranians during his recent visit is not true."
He clarified that the visit of the Pakistani Army Chief Asim Munir to Tehran was part of mediation efforts between Iran and the United States, indicating that it focused on ending the current stalemate and resuming efforts aimed at restoring regional stability and peace.
He pointed out that the purpose of the visit was to give a boost to efforts to open the Strait of Hormuz, noting that Islamabad continues to engage with friendly countries for mediation between the United States and Iran, and that it supports all efforts aimed at achieving peace and reaching a fair settlement of the conflict.
The spokesperson for the Pakistani Foreign Ministry praised the trade relations between Pakistan and Iran, noting that his country has the desire to strengthen trade ties with Tehran.
Meanwhile, data from the company "Kpler" showed today that maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz remains weak amid the ongoing stalemate between the United States and Iran, despite reports of talks between Tehran and Muscat regarding the strait.
Kpler's data indicated that the movement of vessels transporting raw materials through the Strait of Hormuz yesterday (Wednesday) increased compared to Tuesday, but remained below its average over the past ten days.
