أعلن قائد (قوات سوريا الديمقراطية «قسد»)، مظلوم عبدي، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، حلّ قواته واندماجها الكامل في مؤسسات الدولة، مؤكداً حل «قسد» والإدارة الذاتية الكردية والتشكيلات العسكرية والمدنية التابعة لها كافة.
وقال عبدي خلال مؤتمر صحفي في قصر الشعب بدمشق: «أعلن انتهاء مهمة قوات سوريا الديمقراطية والانتقال من مرحلة الدفاع إلى مرحلة البناء»، مؤكداً انتهاء مهمة «قسد» وحلها كقوة عسكرية مستقلة.

وأوضح عبدي أن الرئيس السوري أحمد الشرع أعلن صون حق تعليم اللغة الكردية، وأظهر موقفاً منفتحاً بشأن حق التعليم باللغة الأم، مشدداً على القول: «نقف اليوم في لحظة تاريخية نطوي فيها صفحة مهمة من تاريخ سورية، ونبدأ فتح صفحة جديدة عنوانها السلام والاستقرار والبناء».
وأضاف: «نريد أن يكون هذا اليوم بداية انتقال حقيقي من زمن السلاح إلى زمن السلام، ومن ساحات المعارك إلى البناء»، مشدداً على ضرورة بناء سورية جديدة وموحدة.

وأوضح أنه بعد الاتفاق مع الرئيس السوري أحمد الشرع واستكمال دمج قواته ضمن ألوية الجيش السوري، انتهت مهمة قوات سوريا الديمقراطية بصفتها قوة عسكرية مستقلة، موضحاً أن المرحلة القادمة يجب أن تُكرّس لبناء سوريا جديدة لجميع أبنائها، من الكرد والعرب والتركمان والآشوريين، بما يحفظ وحدة البلاد ويصون مستقبل أبنائها.

وكان عبدي قد قال خلال احتفال بمناسبة مرور 100 عام على تأسيس مدينة القامشلي قبل أيام، إنه «على أساس اتفاقية 29 يناير، بدأت مرحلة جديدة»، مشيراً إلى أن مرحلة الدمج، في ما يخص المؤسسات العسكرية والأمنية والإدارية التابعة لـ«قسد» ضمن مؤسسات الدولة الوطنية، قد اكتملت وانتهت.
وتوصلت الحكومة السورية إلى اتفاق مع «قسد» في يناير، ينص على دمج تدريجي للمقاتلين الأكراد في صفوف القوات الحكومية.
وكانت الحكومة السورية قد أعلنت في 29 يناير 2026 التوصل إلى اتفاق شامل مع «قسد»، يتضمن وقفاً لإطلاق النار وبدء عملية دمج عسكري وإداري، وضمان عودة النازحين إلى مناطقهم.
ويأتي إعلان عبدي وسط أنباء عن قرار مرتقب بتعيينه من قبل الرئيس السوري أحمد الشرع مستشاراً له لشؤون الشعب الكردي.
The commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), Mazloum Abdi, announced today (Tuesday) the dissolution of his forces and their complete integration into state institutions, confirming the dissolution of the SDF and all Kurdish self-administration and military and civilian formations affiliated with it.
Abdi stated during a press conference at the People's Palace in Damascus: "I announce the end of the mission of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the transition from a phase of defense to a phase of construction," emphasizing the end of the SDF's mission and its dissolution as an independent military force.

Abdi clarified that Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara announced the preservation of the right to teach the Kurdish language and showed an open stance regarding the right to education in the mother tongue, stressing: "Today, we stand at a historic moment where we close an important chapter in the history of Syria and begin to open a new chapter titled peace, stability, and construction."
He added: "We want this day to be the beginning of a real transition from the era of weapons to the era of peace, from the battlefields to construction," emphasizing the necessity of building a new and unified Syria.

He explained that after the agreement with President Ahmad al-Shara and the completion of the integration of his forces within the brigades of the Syrian army, the mission of the Syrian Democratic Forces as an independent military force has ended, clarifying that the upcoming phase should be dedicated to building a new Syria for all its children, including Kurds, Arabs, Turkmen, and Assyrians, in a way that preserves the unity of the country and secures the future of its children.
Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara met with Mazloum Abdi today following the announcement of the dissolution of the SDF.
Abdi had said during a celebration marking the 100th anniversary of the founding of the city of Qamishli a few days ago that "based on the agreement of January 29, a new phase has begun," indicating that the integration phase concerning the military, security, and administrative institutions affiliated with the SDF within the national state institutions has been completed and ended.
The Syrian government reached an agreement with the SDF in January, which stipulates the gradual integration of Kurdish fighters into the ranks of the government forces.
The Syrian government announced on January 29, 2026, that it had reached a comprehensive agreement with the SDF, which includes a ceasefire and the start of military and administrative integration, as well as ensuring the return of displaced persons to their areas.
This announcement by Abdi comes amid reports of an anticipated decision by Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara to appoint him as an advisor on Kurdish affairs.
