في الوقت الذي وصلت فيه المفاوضات حول تنفيذ خطة السلام في غزة إلى طريق مسدود، كشفت مصادر إعلامية عربية تلقي حركة حماس تعهداً من جاريد كوشنر ونيكولاي ملادينوف، مبعوثي الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، بأن يواكب نزع سلاح الحركة انسحاب إسرائيلي من قطاع غزة.
والتقى كوشنر وفداً من حماس برئاسة خليل الحية في مصر اليوم. ووفقاً لقناتي «العربية والحدث»، فإن الحية أكد خلال الاجتماع التزام الحركة باستكمال خطة ترمب لإنهاء معاناة المواطنين والبدء في إعادة الإعمار في القطاع الفلسطيني المحاصر.
ونقلت القناتان عن مصدر قوله إن كوشنر أكد لممثلي حركة حماس أن السلام في غزة لن يتحقق إلا إذا نفذت جميع الأطراف التزاماتها بموجب خطة السلام الأمريكية.
وأفادتا بأن كوشنر عقد سلسلة اجتماعات في مدينة العلمين المصرية تناولت الوضع في غزة، وشملت لقاءات مع الوسطاء المشاركين في المفاوضات غير المباشرة بين إسرائيل وحماس، إضافة إلى ملادينوف الممثل الأعلى لمجلس السلام بشأن قطاع غزة.
وقال مصدر دبلوماسي إن مبعوثي ترمب اجتمعا اليوم في القاهرة مع الوسطاء المصريين والقطريين والأتراك سعياً للمضي قدماً بالخطة الأمريكية، فيما شاركت قيادات من حماس في بعض تلك الاجتماعات، كما اجتمع كوشنر وملادينوف مع لجنة إدارة غزة.
وأضاف المصدر أن كوشنر وملادينوف من المقرر أن يلتقيا رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو غداً في وقت تبدي فيه إسرائيل تحفظات على بعض بنود الخطة، لاسيما ما يتعلق بوقف استهداف عناصر حماس.
وتشدد الخطة الأمريكية على وقف فوري للعمليات العسكرية في غزة، ونزع سلاح حماس، وانسحاب القوات الإسرائيلية من القطاع، إلى جانب إطلاق عملية إعادة إعمار تحت إدارة فلسطينية مدنية جديدة.
ووصل وفد من حماس برئاسة رئيس الحركة الجديد خليل الحية إلى العلمين وأجرى محادثات مع رئيس جهاز المخابرات العامة المصري حسن رشاد بشأن التطورات في غزة.
وكانت الرئاسة المصرية قد أعلنت في وقت سابق أن الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي استقبل كوشنر في العلمين، مؤكداً خلال اللقاء ضرورة التزام جميع الأطراف ببنود الاتفاق الموقع في أكتوبر الماضي في شرم الشيخ.
At a time when negotiations regarding the implementation of the peace plan in Gaza have reached a deadlock, Arab media sources revealed that Hamas received a commitment from Jared Kushner and Nikolai Mladenov, the envoys of U.S. President Donald Trump, that the disarmament of the movement would accompany an Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.
Kushner met with a Hamas delegation headed by Khalil al-Hayya in Egypt today. According to the channels "Al Arabiya and Al Hadath," al-Hayya confirmed during the meeting the movement's commitment to completing Trump's plan to end the suffering of citizens and begin reconstruction in the besieged Palestinian territory.
The two channels reported that Kushner assured Hamas representatives that peace in Gaza would only be achieved if all parties fulfilled their commitments under the U.S. peace plan.
They indicated that Kushner held a series of meetings in the Egyptian city of Alamein that addressed the situation in Gaza, including meetings with mediators involved in the indirect negotiations between Israel and Hamas, in addition to Mladenov, the high representative of the Peace Council regarding the Gaza Strip.
A diplomatic source stated that Trump's envoys met today in Cairo with Egyptian, Qatari, and Turkish mediators in an effort to advance the U.S. plan, while leaders from Hamas participated in some of those meetings, and Kushner and Mladenov met with the Gaza Management Committee.
The source added that Kushner and Mladenov are scheduled to meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tomorrow at a time when Israel is expressing reservations about some provisions of the plan, particularly regarding the cessation of targeting Hamas members.
The U.S. plan emphasizes an immediate halt to military operations in Gaza, the disarmament of Hamas, and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the territory, alongside launching a reconstruction process under a new Palestinian civilian administration.
A Hamas delegation headed by the new leader of the movement, Khalil al-Hayya, arrived in Alamein and held talks with the head of the Egyptian General Intelligence Service, Hassan Rashad, regarding developments in Gaza.
The Egyptian presidency had previously announced that President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi received Kushner in Alamein, emphasizing during the meeting the necessity for all parties to adhere to the terms of the agreement signed last October in Sharm El Sheikh.
