بعد أشهر من الهدوء، أكدت مصادر سودانية وشهود عيان أن قوات الدعم السريع أطلقت، اليوم (الأربعاء)، سرباً من الطائرات المُسيّرة الانتحارية باتجاه العاصمة الخرطوم. وأفادت الأنباء بوقوع هجوم بمسيّرات على الخرطوم ومدينتين في شمال السودان، بعد هدوء استمر عدة أشهر في العاصمة.
وبحسب وكالة «فرانس برس»، سمع دوي مضادات جوية مصدرها قاعدة عسكرية في شمال أم درمان، فيما أشار شهود في مدينتي عطبرة والدامر اللتين يسيطر عليهما الجيش أيضاً، إلى رؤية مسيّرات وسماع دوي انفجارات.
ونقلت وكالة الأنباء الألمانية «د ب أ» عن مصادر ميدانية سودانية تأكيدها سقوط طائرة مسيرة وسط حي سكني بمنطقة السامراب في الخرطوم بحري، ضمن هجوم شنته قوات الدعم السريع بطائرات انتحارية استهدف العاصمة، بالتزامن مع استهداف مدينتي عطبرة والدامر بولاية نهر النيل.
وأفاد موقع «أخبار السودان» بأن مسيرة سقطت في حي سكني مأهول بالسكان بمنطقة السامراب، دون أن تتوفر معلومات فورية عن حجم الأضرار البشرية أو المادية الناجمة عن سقوطها.
وفي تطور متزامن، استهدفت مسيرات انتحارية مدينة الدامر، عاصمة ولاية نهر النيل، فيما لا تزال التحليقات الأولية جارية لتقييم الخسائر.
ولم تصدر حتى الآن أي حصيلة رسمية للضحايا أو الأضرار من جراء الهجمات التي طالت الخرطوم، وعطبرة، والدامر.
ويأتي هذا التصعيد في وقت تشهد فيه جبهات القتال استخداماً مكثفاً للطائرات المسيرة في العمليات العسكرية بين الجيش السوداني وقوات الدعم السريع.
ويشهد السودان حرباً بين قوات الجيش والدعم السريع شبه العسكرية منذ أبريل 2023، وأودى الصراع بحياة 59 ألف شخص على الأقل وتسبب في نزوح نحو 13 مليون آخرين ودفع أجزاء كثيرة من السودان إلى المجاعة، ويحتاج أكثر من 30 مليون شخص لمساعدات إنسانية.
After months of calm, Sudanese sources and eyewitnesses confirmed that the Rapid Support Forces launched, today (Wednesday), a swarm of suicide drones towards the capital, Khartoum. Reports indicated that an attack with drones occurred on Khartoum and two cities in northern Sudan, following several months of tranquility in the capital.
According to the French news agency, "AFP," the sound of anti-aircraft fire was heard coming from a military base in northern Omdurman, while witnesses in the cities of Atbara and Al-Damer, which are also controlled by the army, reported seeing drones and hearing explosions.
The German news agency "dpa" quoted Sudanese field sources confirming that a drone fell in a residential neighborhood in the Samarab area of Bahri, as part of an attack launched by the Rapid Support Forces with suicide drones targeting the capital, coinciding with attacks on the cities of Atbara and Al-Damer in the River Nile state.
The website "Sudan News" reported that a drone fell in a densely populated residential area in Samarab, with no immediate information available regarding the extent of human or material damage resulting from its fall.
In a simultaneous development, suicide drones targeted the city of Al-Damer, the capital of the River Nile state, while initial flights are still ongoing to assess the damages.
No official casualty or damage toll has yet been released regarding the attacks that affected Khartoum, Atbara, and Al-Damer.
This escalation comes at a time when the fronts of combat are witnessing the intensive use of drones in military operations between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces.
Sudan has been experiencing a war between the army and the semi-military Rapid Support Forces since April 2023, with the conflict claiming the lives of at least 59,000 people and causing the displacement of around 13 million others, pushing many parts of Sudan into famine, and leaving more than 30 million people in need of humanitarian assistance.
