أعلنت وزارة الدفاع السورية مقتل أحد جنودها وإصابة اثنين آخرين (السبت)، إثر تعرضهم لهجوم شرق دير الزور.
وأفادت إدارة الإعلام والاتصال في وزارة الدفاع لوكالة «سانا» الرسمية، بأن الجنود تعرضوا لهجوم من قبل مجهولين في بلدة جديد بكارة شرق دير الزور، ما أدى إلى مقتل أحدهم وإصابة اثنين آخرين.
وقُتل أحد جنود الجيش السوري في السابع عشر من شهر يوليو الماضي، إثر تعرضه لهجوم من قبل مجهولين في قرية السعدة جنوب محافظة الحسكة.
وأعلنت قوى الأمن الداخلي السورية أمس (الجمعة) تحييد عنصرين من تنظيم داعش الإرهابي، كانا يزرعان عبوة ناسفة في منطقة السيدة زينب بريف دمشق، أثناء تنفيذ إحدى الدوريات الليلية مهامها على الطرق المؤدية إلى الثكنات والمراكز الحكومية في المنطقة.
وقالت قوى الأمن الداخلي، في بيان أوردته وكالة الأنباء السورية، إن عناصر الدورية اشتبهوا بشخصين ملثمين يتمركزان على جانب الطريق، ولدى محاولة إيقافهما للتحقق من هويتهما، بادرا بإطلاق النار باتجاه العناصر، ما أدى إلى اندلاع اشتباك انتهى بتحييدهما.
وأضافت أنه بالتحقق من الموقع، تبيّن أن المشتبهين كانا يعملان على زرع عبوة ناسفة تمهيداً لتنفيذ عمل إرهابي يستهدف إحدى الجهات الحكومية، كما عُثر بحوزتهما على عبوات ناسفة وأسلحة، وتبيّن ارتباطهما بتنظيم داعش الإرهابي.
وأكد البيان أن وزارة الداخلية تواصل جهودها الأمنية لمكافحة الإرهاب وحماية المواطنين وترسيخ الأمن والاستقرار، إذ أحبطت قوى الأمن الداخلي بالتعاون مع جهاز الاستخبارات العامة العديد من المخططات الإرهابية التي كان التنظيم يخطط لتنفيذها خلال الفترة الماضية.

The Media and Communication Department in the Ministry of Defense reported to the official "SANA" agency that the soldiers were attacked by unknown assailants in the town of Jadid Bakkara east of Deir ez-Zor, resulting in the death of one and the injury of two others.
One soldier of the Syrian army was killed on July 17 of last month, following an attack by unknown assailants in the village of Al-Sa'da south of Hasakah province.
Yesterday (Friday), the Syrian Internal Security Forces announced the neutralization of two members of the terrorist organization ISIS, who were planting an explosive device in the Sayyida Zainab area in the Damascus countryside, during one of the night patrols carrying out their duties on the roads leading to the barracks and government centers in the area.
The Internal Security Forces stated in a statement reported by the Syrian news agency that the patrol members suspected two masked individuals positioned at the roadside, and when they attempted to stop them to verify their identities, the suspects opened fire at the personnel, leading to a clash that ended with their neutralization.
Upon checking the site, it was found that the suspects were working on planting an explosive device in preparation for carrying out a terrorist act targeting a government entity, and they were found in possession of explosive devices and weapons, and it was revealed that they were linked to the terrorist organization ISIS.
The statement confirmed that the Ministry of Interior continues its security efforts to combat terrorism, protect citizens, and establish security and stability, as the Internal Security Forces, in cooperation with the General Intelligence Agency, have thwarted many terrorist plots that the organization was planning to execute in the past period.
