في خطوة تجسّد عمق الروابط الأخوية ومواقف السعودية الثابتة لدعم الشعب اليمني، دشّن وزير التربية والتعليم اليمني الدكتور عادل العبادي، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، مشروعاً تنموياً إستراتيجياً يتضمن بناء وإعادة تأهيل (13) مدرسة في محافظتي لحج والضالع.
ويأتي هذا المشروع الإستراتيجي بدعم سخي ومتواصل من السعودية، عبر ذراعها الإنسانية مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية، وتنفيذ منظمة «ديفر ستي»، في إطار الجهود الرامية لإنعاش القطاع التعليمي ورفع كفاءته.
حجر أساس «الراحة».. انطلاقة تنموية
ووضع وزير التربية والتعليم ومحافظ لحج مراد الحالمي، حجر الأساس لمشروع إنشاء مدرسة «الراحة» في مديرية المضاربة ورأس العارة، إيذاناً بالبدء الفعلي لتنفيذ حزمة المشاريع الإنشائية والتأهيلية المدرجة في الخطة.
تدشين المدارس في الضالع ولحج
ويستهدف المشروع الحيوي إنجاز (13) صرحاً تربوياً وتعليمياً متكاملاً، موزعة بعناية لتغطي احتياجات المحافظات المستهدفة بواقع (6) مدارس حيوية في محافظة لحج، و(7) مدارس أخرى في محافظة الضالع، بما يضمن توسيع نطاق الاستفادة وخدمة قطاع واسع من الطلاب والطالبات.
تحسين البيئة التعليمية وتوفير البنية التحتية
ويعد هذا الدعم السعودي النوعي استجابةً ملحة للحاجة الفاعلة المتمثلة في تحسين البيئة التعليمية المتضررة، وتوفير بنية تحتية مستدامة وآمنة تُعين الطلاب على مواصلة تحصيلهم العلمي في ظروف مواتية ومحفزة، مما يسهم بشكل مباشر في ردم الفجوات التعليمية والحد من تسرب الطلاب من المدارس.

وأكد وزير التربية والتعليم الأهمية الإستراتيجية التي تكتسبها هذه المشاريع في الوقت الراهن، مشدداً على دورها الفاعل في تعزيز البنية التحتية للقطاع التعليمي والارتقاء بجودة مخرجاته.
وثمّن العبادي عالياً الدعم اللامحدود الذي تقدمه السعودية قيادةً وشعباً عبر مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية، مشيداً بالدور التكاملي للسلطة المحلية والجهات الشريكة في إنجاح مسار المشاريع التنموية التي تلبي تطلعات واحتياجات المواطنين.
In a move that embodies the depth of brotherly ties and Saudi Arabia's steadfast positions in supporting the Yemeni people, the Yemeni Minister of Education, Dr. Adel Al-Abbadi, launched today (Tuesday) a strategic development project that includes the construction and rehabilitation of (13) schools in the Lahij and Al-Dhale'e governorates.
This strategic project comes with generous and continuous support from Saudi Arabia, through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works, and is being implemented by the organization "Diverse City," as part of efforts aimed at revitalizing the educational sector and enhancing its efficiency.
The Foundation Stone of "Al-Raha" .. A Developmental Launch
The Minister of Education and the Governor of Lahij, Murad Al-Halimi, laid the foundation stone for the construction of the "Al-Raha" school in the Al-Mudharabah and Ras Al-Arah districts, signaling the actual start of implementing a package of construction and rehabilitation projects included in the plan.

The vital project aims to complete (13) integrated educational and training facilities, carefully distributed to meet the needs of the targeted governorates, with (6) vital schools in Lahij and (7) other schools in Al-Dhale'e, ensuring the expansion of benefits and serving a wide sector of male and female students.
Improving the Educational Environment and Providing Infrastructure
This qualitative Saudi support is an urgent response to the pressing need to improve the damaged educational environment and to provide a sustainable and safe infrastructure that helps students continue their academic pursuits in conducive and motivating conditions, directly contributing to bridging educational gaps and reducing student dropout rates.

The Minister of Education emphasized the strategic importance of these projects at the present time, stressing their active role in enhancing the infrastructure of the educational sector and improving the quality of its outputs.
Al-Abbadi highly appreciated the unlimited support provided by Saudi Arabia, both leadership and people, through the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works, praising the complementary role of the local authority and partner entities in successfully implementing development projects that meet the aspirations and needs of citizens.
