كان معتمر سوري يشق طريقه عائداً من أداء مناسك العمرة، حين توقفت رحلته بصورة مفاجئة قرب بلدة الحليفة، على طريق حائل-المدينة المنورة، إثر وعكة صحية استدعت تدخلاً إسعافياً عاجلاً.
الموقع يبعد نحو 200 كيلومتر جنوب مدينة حائل، والمسافة إلى المنشآت الصحية المتخصصة فرضت سباقاً مع الوقت. ومع وصول البلاغ، تحركت الفرق الإسعافية التابعة لهيئة الهلال الأحمر السعودي بمنطقة حائل إلى الموقع، وبدأت التعامل مع الحالة ميدانياً، وقدمت الرعاية الطبية الأولية وفق الإجراءات المعتمدة.
وبعد تقييم وضع المعتمر الصحي، اتُخذ قرار نقله جواً إلى مدينة حائل، لتختصر طائرة الإسعاف الجوي مسافة الطريق، وتنقله إلى مستشفى الملك سلمان التخصصي، حيث استُكملت الفحوصات وبدأت مراحل الرعاية الطبية اللازمة.
وبين رحلة بدأت من مكة المكرمة، ووعكة باغتت المعتمر في طريق العودة، تحركت منظومة إسعافية متكاملة من البلاغ إلى المباشرة، ثم الإخلاء الجوي والوصول إلى المستشفى، في استجابة عكست جاهزية الفرق الأرضية والجوية للتعامل مع الحالات الطارئة في المواقع البعيدة.
الحادثة جسدت جانباً من العناية التي تحيط بضيوف الرحمن خلال وجودهم في المملكة وحتى مغادرتهم، عبر خدمات إسعافية تعمل على مدار الساعة، وتصل إلى الطرق والمدن والبلدات، لضمان التدخل الطبي في الوقت المناسب، بصرف النظر عن جنسية المستفيد أو موقعه.
A Syrian pilgrim was making his way back after performing the rituals of Umrah when his journey was unexpectedly halted near the town of Al-Hulaifah, on the Hail-Medina road, due to a health emergency that required urgent medical intervention.
The location is about 200 kilometers south of the city of Hail, and the distance to specialized health facilities necessitated a race against time. Upon receiving the report, the emergency teams from the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in the Hail region moved to the site and began to handle the case on the ground, providing initial medical care according to the approved procedures.
After assessing the pilgrim's health condition, a decision was made to airlift him to the city of Hail, allowing the air ambulance to shorten the travel distance and transport him to King Salman Specialist Hospital, where further examinations were completed and necessary medical care began.
Between a journey that started from Mecca and a sudden illness that struck the pilgrim on the way back, a comprehensive emergency response system was activated from the report to the intervention, then the air evacuation and arrival at the hospital, reflecting the readiness of ground and air teams to handle emergency cases in remote locations.
The incident exemplified the care that surrounds the guests of the Most Merciful during their stay in the Kingdom and until their departure, through emergency services that operate around the clock, reaching roads, cities, and towns, to ensure timely medical intervention, regardless of the beneficiary's nationality or location.
