صرّح الناطق الرسمي باسم القوات المسلحة الأردنية – الجيش العربي، بأن الدفاعات الجوية تعاملت فجر اليوم (الخميس)، مع خمسة صواريخ قادمة من إيران استهدفت أراضي المملكة، حيث جرى رصدها واعتراضها وإسقاطها وفق الخطط الدفاعية المعدة لهذه الغاية.
وأكد أن إجراءات الاعتراض نفّذت بكفاءة واحترافية؛ ما أسفر عن إحباط محاولة استهداف أراضي المملكة، دون تسجيل أي إصابات بشرية.
وشدد الناطق الرسمي -وفقًا لوكالة أنباء "بترا"-، على أن القوات المسلحة الأردنية – الجيش العربي تواصل أداء واجبها في حماية أجواء المملكة وصون أمنها وسيادتها، وتحافظ على أعلى درجات الجاهزية للتعامل بكل حزم مع أي تهديد يستهدف أمن الوطن وسلامة مواطنيه.
The official spokesperson for the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army, stated that the air defenses dealt with five missiles coming from Iran that targeted the territory of the Kingdom early this morning (Thursday). They were detected, intercepted, and shot down according to the defensive plans prepared for this purpose.
He confirmed that the interception procedures were carried out efficiently and professionally, resulting in the thwarting of the attempt to target the territory of the Kingdom, with no human casualties reported.
The official spokesperson - according to the Petra News Agency - emphasized that the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army continues to perform its duty in protecting the skies of the Kingdom and preserving its security and sovereignty, maintaining the highest levels of readiness to deal decisively with any threat targeting the security of the homeland and the safety of its citizens.
