أدانت الأمانة العامة لمنظمة التعاون الإسلامي بأشد العبارات الاعتداء الغاشم من مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية على السفن التجارية السعودية وذلك أثناء ملاحتها في عرض البحر الأحمر، الأمر الذي يشكّل عدواناً سافراً وانتهاكاً خطيراً لأمن وسلامة الملاحة الإقليمية والدولية؛ مما يؤثر بشكل سلبي على تأمين وإيصال إمدادات الغذاء والطاقة في العالم.
وأكدت الأمانة العامة في بيان أن هذا العدوان يمثل تهديداً حقيقياً للسلم والأمن الدوليين، بل وخرقاً واضحاً لمبادئ وقواعد القانون الدولي، ويتطلب من المجتمع الدولي اتخاذ إجراءات صارمة لوضع حد لهذه الانتهاكات والاعتداءات الغادرة التي ارتكبتها المليشيا الإرهابية المارقة.
وأعربت عن تضامنها التام مع المملكة العربية السعودية في كل ما تتخذه من إجراءات لحماية أمنها ومصالحها.
The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemned in the strongest terms the brutal attack by the Houthi terrorist militia on Saudi commercial vessels while navigating in the open waters of the Red Sea, an act that constitutes a blatant aggression and a serious violation of the security and safety of regional and international navigation; negatively affecting the securing and delivery of food and energy supplies worldwide.
The General Secretariat affirmed in a statement that this aggression represents a real threat to international peace and security, as well as a clear breach of the principles and rules of international law, requiring the international community to take strict measures to put an end to these violations and treacherous attacks committed by the rogue terrorist militia.
It expressed its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to protect its security and interests.
