أعلنت وزارة الدفاع الكويتية، اليوم (الخميس)، تعرض منفذ العبدلي الحدودي لهجوم بطائرة مسيرة أسفر عن وقوع أضرار مادية، دون تسجيل أي إصابات بشرية.
وقال المتحدث باسم وزارة الدفاع الكويتية، العقيد الركن سعود عبدالعزيز العطوان، إن منفذ العبدلي الحدودي تعرض، ظهر اليوم، لهجوم بطائرات مسيّرة معادية، أسفر عن وقوع أضرار مادية، دون تسجيل أي إصابات بشرية، مضيفاً: الفرق المختصة باشرت، فور وقوع الحادث، التعامل معه واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لتأمين الموقع، بالتنسيق مع الجهات المعنية.
وأشار البيان إلى أن فرق التفتيش والتخلص من المتفجرات التابعة للقوة البرية باشرت أعمال المسح والتأمين، ورفع مخلفات الطائرات المسيّرة، وفق الإجراءات الفنية المعتمدة، بما يضمن سلامة الموقع وخلوّه من أي مخاطر.
وأكد البيان أن القوات المسلحة الكويتية مستمرة في أداء مهماتها وواجباتها بكفاءة عالية، في إطار الجاهزية المستمرة والاستعداد الدائم لحماية حدود الوطن وصون أمنه واستقراره.
في غضون ذلك، أعلنت قوة الإطفاء العام في الكويت، اليوم، السيطرة على حريق اندلع في منفذ العبدلي الحدودي شمالي البلاد، إثر استهدافه بطائرات مسيّرة معادية، من دون تسجيل أي إصابات بشرية.
وقال المتحدث باسم قوة الإطفاء العام، العميد محمد بدر إبراهيم، إن مركزي إطفاء العبدلي والصبية تمكنا من السيطرة على الحريق بعد مباشرة فرق الإطفاء عمليات المكافحة فور وصولها إلى الموقع.
وأوضح أن الحريق تمت السيطرة عليه بالكامل، مؤكداً أن الحادثة لم تسفر عن أي إصابات بشرية، فيما اقتصرت الخسائر على الأضرار المادية.

Meanwhile, the Kuwait Fire Force announced today that it has controlled a fire that broke out at the Abdali border crossing in the north of the country, following an attack by hostile drones, with no human injuries reported.
The spokesperson for the Kuwait Fire Force, Brigadier Mohammed Badr Ibrahim, stated that the Abdali and Subiya fire stations managed to control the fire after firefighting teams began their operations immediately upon arriving at the site.
He clarified that the fire was completely controlled, confirming that the incident did not result in any human injuries, while the losses were limited to material damage.
