أدانت وزارة الخارجية والمغتربين اللبنانية -بأشد العبارات- التهديدات التي أطلقتها مليشيا الحوثي ضد المملكة العربية السعودية، بما في ذلك تهديدات تستهدف الملاحة البحرية عبر مضيق باب المندب، عادة هذه التهديدات انتهاكاً صارخاً للقانون الدولي ولقرارات مجلس الأمن ذات الصلة.
وجددت الوزارة -وفق بيان أصدرته- تأكيدها على ضرورة احترام حرية الملاحة البحرية والتنفيذ الكامل للقرارات الدولية؛ بما يضمن دعم الشرعية اليمنية وانسحاب مليشيا الحوثي من المناطق التي سيطروا عليها، مشددة على أهمية الحفاظ على أمن الممرات البحرية والاستقرار الإقليمي.
The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants condemned -in the strongest terms- the threats issued by the Houthi militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including threats targeting maritime navigation through the Bab al-Mandab Strait, considering these threats a blatant violation of international law and relevant Security Council resolutions.
The ministry reiterated -in a statement it issued- its emphasis on the necessity of respecting freedom of maritime navigation and the full implementation of international resolutions; ensuring support for the Yemeni legitimacy and the withdrawal of the Houthi militia from the areas they have occupied, stressing the importance of maintaining the security of maritime corridors and regional stability.
