لم يكن يدرك السائح السعودي عبدالعزيز الحربي (39 عامًا) أن وقوفه على ضفة نهر (هاديزين) في منطقة أوزنغول بطرابزون سيكون آخر لحظات حياته.
جاء إلى تركيا لقضاء إجازة هادئة بين جبال الشمال التركي، لكن صورة تذكارية تحولت إلى مأساة وثّقتها كاميرات السياح.
انزلاق مفاجئ.. وصراع مع التيار
في مساء يوم هادئ بحي دميركابي، وقف عبدالعزيز قرب مجرى النهر لالتقاط صورة. لحظة واحدة كانت كافية لانزلاق قدمه على الصخور الرطبة، ليسقط في المياه الباردة التي تجري بقوة بين ضفاف النهر.
حاول عبدالعزيز التشبُّث بغصن شجرة وسط التيار، بينما اندفع شقيقه الأصغر عمر الحربي (23 عامًا) نحو المياه لإنقاذه. أمسك عمر بالطرف الآخر من الغصن، في مشهد مؤثر وثّقته هواتف السياح الذين وقفوا مذهولين أمام صراع الشقيقين مع قوة الطبيعة.
تيار لا يرحم
رغم محاولات عمر والسياح، لم يستطع عبدالعزيز مقاومة التيار. فقد توازنه بعد اصطدام رأسه بصخرة، قبل أن تجرفه المياه ويختفي عن الأنظار. صرخات عمر واستغاثات الموجودين لم تغيّر شيئًا من النهاية المؤلمة.
لحظة الانتشال.. وصمت المكان
وصلت فرق إدارة الكوارث والطوارئ التركية (AFAD) والدرك والإسعاف إلى الموقع خلال دقائق. وثّقت مقاطع مصوّرة لحظة انتشال جثمان عبدالعزيز من المياه، بينما كان عمر يُسعف على الضفة وقد أنهكه البرد والخوف.
أكد الطاقم الطبي وفاة عبدالعزيز في الموقع، ونُقل جثمانه إلى معهد الطب الشرعي لتحديد السبب الدقيق للوفاة، فيما استقرت حالة عمر الصحية.
أوزنغول.. جمال ساحر وخطر كامن
تُعد أوزنغول من أشهر وجهات السياحة في شمال تركيا، لكن أنهارها ذات التيارات القوية كثيرًا ما تشهد حوادث مشابهة، خصوصًا عند اقتراب السياح من الضفاف الصخرية لالتقاط الصور.
ورغم التحذيرات المنتشرة في المنطقة، تتكرر الحوادث بين فترة وأخرى، ما دفع كثيرين للمطالبة بتشديد إجراءات السلامة ووضع حواجز في المواقع الخطرة.

He came to Turkey to spend a peaceful vacation among the mountains of northern Turkey, but a souvenir photo turned into a tragedy documented by tourists' cameras.
Sudden Slip... and a Struggle with the Current
On a quiet evening in the Demirkapi neighborhood, Abdulaziz stood near the river's flow to take a picture. A single moment was enough for his foot to slip on the wet rocks, causing him to fall into the cold waters rushing powerfully between the riverbanks.
Abdulaziz tried to cling to a tree branch in the current, while his younger brother Omar Al-Harbi (23 years old) rushed into the water to save him. Omar grabbed the other end of the branch, in an emotional scene captured by the tourists' phones who stood astonished at the brothers' struggle against the force of nature.
A Relentless Current
Despite Omar's attempts and those of the tourists, Abdulaziz could not withstand the current. He lost his balance after his head struck a rock, before being swept away by the water and disappearing from sight. Omar's screams and the pleas of those present did not change the outcome of the tragic ending.
The Moment of Recovery... and the Silence of the Place
Turkish disaster and emergency management teams (AFAD), along with the gendarmerie and ambulance, arrived at the site within minutes. Footage documented the moment Abdulaziz's body was recovered from the water, while Omar was being treated on the bank, exhausted from the cold and fear.
The medical team confirmed Abdulaziz's death at the scene, and his body was transferred to the forensic medicine institute to determine the exact cause of death, while Omar's health condition stabilized.
Ozengol... Enchanting Beauty and Hidden Danger
Ozengol is one of the most famous tourist destinations in northern Turkey, but its rivers with strong currents often witness similar incidents, especially when tourists approach the rocky banks to take pictures.
Despite the widespread warnings in the area, incidents recur from time to time, prompting many to call for stricter safety measures and the installation of barriers in dangerous locations.
A Tragedy that Shakes Tourists
The video spread on social media, and many expressed their sorrow for the painful scene that brought together two brothers in a moment of struggle between life and death. A tourist trip that was supposed to be a beautiful memory turned into a story told with pain.
