لم تكن الرائحة النفاذة التي تسللت بين طوابق أحد العقارات السكنية بمنطقة «سيدي بشر قبلي» بالإسكندرية مجرد إشارة إلى إهمال منزلي عابر، بل كانت الخيط الأول لكشف كابوس جنائي مروّع حبكت تفاصيله محامية شابة، قبل أن تتوارى عن الأنظار وتترك خلفها جريمة هزت الشارع المصري.

ورغم تحفظ الأدلة الجنائية على سكين ومقص ملطخين بالدماء، وتبعية الشقة للمحامية الهاربة التي أصبحت المشتبه بها الأولى، إلا أن اللغز الأكبر الذي يحاول رجال التحقيق فك شفرته الآن يرتبط بهوية الضحية نفسها، إذ تنتظر النيابة العامة نتائج فحص البصمة الوراثية (DNA) للحسم في السؤال المؤرق: هل تجردت المحامية من إنسانيتها وقتلت والدتها المسنة وقطعت جثتها، أم أن ثلاجة المنزل كانت مخبأ لضحية أخرى؟

As the forces stormed the apartment, the home turned into a crime scene that shocked even the toughest investigators, as two human hands were found lying on the living room floor in a state of decay, alongside a closed bag containing severed legs. In the kitchen, the inspection revealed the upper part of a body hidden inside a bag in the refrigerator, while the victim's head was found in the "freezer," its features completely erased by decay and freezing, alongside a plastic bag containing the remains of the corpse.
Despite the forensic team's seizure of a knife and scissors stained with blood, and the apartment belonging to the fleeing lawyer who became the prime suspect, the bigger mystery that investigators are now trying to decode is related to the identity of the victim itself. The public prosecutor is awaiting the results of the DNA analysis to resolve the troubling question: Did the lawyer strip away her humanity and kill her elderly mother, dismembering her body, or was the home's refrigerator a hiding place for another victim?
