اتهم وزير الخارجية الفرنسي جان نويل بارو اليوم (الإثنين) طهران بترهيب اثنين من موظفي سفارة بلاده.
وقال بارو على حسابه في «إكس»: «في ليلة الأحد، تعرض موظفان في سفارة فرنسا في إيران لهجوم ترويع شديد الخطورة من قبل خدمات الأمن الإيرانية، في انتهاك صارخ للحصانات الدبلوماسية التي يتمتعان بها»، مضيفاً: «احتجزا دون مبرر لعدة ساعات، وخضعا للاستجواب، وبالنسبة لأحدهما تعرض للإساءة الجسدية، وقد تمكّنا أخيراً من العودة إلى السفارة، حيث هم الآن في أمان في انتظار عودتهما إلى فرنسا خلال الساعات القليلة القادمة».
وأشار إلى أن «هذا الهجوم أكثر صدمة؛ لأن هذين الموظفين يدعمان برامجنا لمساعدة المجتمع المدني، خصوصاً الفنانين والعلماء الإيرانيين»، لافتاً إلى أنه أثنى عليهما لشجاعتهما في أداء مهمتهما «التي تضع فرنسا في طليعة دعم الشعب الإيراني الذي لن نتركه».
وتوعد وزير الخارجية الفرنسي برد على إيران قائلاً: «لقد أبلغت وزير الخارجية الإيراني أن هذا الانتهاك الجسيم وغير المقبول لسلامة موظفينا لن يمر دون عواقب».
من جهة أخرى، أفادت وكالة أنباء فارس بمقتل ضابط بوحدة الدفاع الجوي الإيرانية في الهجوم الأمريكي على مدينة تبريز فجر اليوم.
من جهة أخرى، أعلنت محافظة فارس الإيرانية أن غارة معادية استهدفت منطقة في مدينة شيراز وأنه لا خسائر بالأرواح.
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot accused Tehran today (Monday) of intimidating two employees of his country's embassy.
Barrot said on his account on "X": "On Sunday night, two employees of the French embassy in Iran were subjected to a severe intimidation attack by Iranian security services, in a blatant violation of the diplomatic immunities they enjoy," adding: "They were unjustly detained for several hours, interrogated, and one of them was subjected to physical abuse. They finally managed to return to the embassy, where they are now safe while awaiting their return to France in the next few hours."
He noted that "this attack is even more shocking because these two employees support our programs to assist civil society, especially Iranian artists and scholars," pointing out that he praised them for their courage in carrying out their mission "which places France at the forefront of supporting the Iranian people whom we will not abandon."
French Foreign Minister vowed a response to Iran, stating: "I informed the Iranian Foreign Minister that this serious and unacceptable violation of our employees' safety will not go without consequences."
On another note, the Fars news agency reported the death of an officer from the Iranian air defense unit in the American attack on the city of Tabriz early today.
Additionally, the Fars province in Iran announced that an enemy raid targeted an area in the city of Shiraz and that there were no casualties.
