دخلت الكويت مرحلة جديدة من التأهب الأمني، بعدما أعلنت رئاسة الأركان العامة، فجر اليوم، أن منظومات الدفاع الجوي تتعامل مع هجمات وصفتها بـ«المعادية» نُفذت بواسطة طائرات مسيّرة إيرانية، في تصعيد جديد يأتي عقب سلسلة اعتداءات استهدفت البلاد خلال الساعات الماضية.
وقالت رئاسة الأركان، في بيان رسمي، إن الدفاعات الجوية باشرت اعتراض الطائرات المسيّرة والتعامل معها، مؤكدة استمرار الإجراءات العسكرية اللازمة للتصدي لأي تهديد يمس أمن البلاد وسلامة أراضيها.
ويأتي هذا التطور بعد يوم واحد من إعلان السلطات الكويتية السيطرة على حريقين اندلعا في موقعين جنوبي البلاد، قالت إنهما نتجا عن اعتداءات إيرانية باستخدام صواريخ باليستية وطائرات مسيّرة.
Kuwait has entered a new phase of security readiness, after the General Staff announced early this morning that air defense systems are dealing with attacks described as "hostile" carried out by Iranian drones, in a new escalation following a series of assaults targeting the country in recent hours.
The General Staff stated in an official statement that air defenses have begun intercepting and dealing with the drones, confirming the continuation of necessary military measures to counter any threat to the country's security and the safety of its territory.
This development comes just one day after Kuwaiti authorities announced the control of two fires that broke out in two locations in the south of the country, which they said resulted from Iranian assaults using ballistic missiles and drones.
