أعرب الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية جاسم البديوي عن إدانته واستنكاره بأشد العبارات اعتداءات إيران الغادرة بعدد من الطائرات المسيرة على مملكة البحرين.
وأشار إلى أن استمرار النظام الإيراني في استهداف المنشآت المدنية والبنية التحتية الحيوية، في ظل مساعي الجهود الدولية والإقليمية الساعية لترسيخ الأمن والسلام وحل الأزمة، يؤكد على رغبته في تقويض المبادرات الرامية إلى احتواء الأزمة، وعرقلة كل المساعي الهادفة إلى تحقيق الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة.
وأكد البديوي دعم مجلس التعاون لكافة الإجراءات التي تتخذها مملكة البحرين لتعزيز أمنها وصون سيادتها وسلامة أراضيها.
The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Al-Budaiwi, expressed his strongest condemnation and denunciation of Iran's treacherous attacks with several drones on the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He pointed out that the Iranian regime's continued targeting of civilian facilities and vital infrastructure, amidst international and regional efforts aimed at establishing security and peace and resolving the crisis, confirms its desire to undermine initiatives aimed at containing the crisis and to obstruct all efforts aimed at achieving security and stability in the region.
Al-Budaiwi affirmed the Council's support for all measures taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain to enhance its security, preserve its sovereignty, and protect its territory.
