دانت وزارة الخارجية البحرينية بأشدّ العبارات استهداف أراضيها بعددٍ من الطائرات المسيّرة الإيرانية، في انتهاكٍ صارخٍ لسيادتها، وتهديدٍ سافرٍ لأمن المواطنين والمقيمين، وخرقٍ فاضحٍ للأعراف والمواثيق الدولية التي تُحرّم استهداف الأعيان المدنية وإرهاب الآمنين.
واستنكرت الخارجية في بيان، اليوم السبت، هذا العدوان الآثم، مؤكدة أنّ استمرار النظام الإيراني في اعتداءاته، في الوقت الذي تمضي فيه الجهود الإقليمية والدولية نحو التهدئة، يُلقي على طهران وحدها مسؤولية تقويض مساعي السلام، ويكشف نهجاً قائماً على زعزعة الأمن وتصدير الفوضى وتقويض الاستقرار الإقليمي.
وقالت: «انطلاقاً من ثوابت المملكة الراسخة، تجدّد الوزارة التأكيد أنّ السلام لا يُبنى بالترهيب، وأنّ الأمن لا يُنتزع بالعدوان، وأنّ عزيمة البحرين أرسخ من كلّ تهديد، وأنّ وحدة صفّها الوطنيّ أعصى على من يظنّ أنّ مواصلة العدوان يثني الكرام عن مبادئهم أو ينال من عزمهم».
وأضافت: «وإذ تستذكر الوزارة قرار مجلس الأمن رقم 2817 (2026)، الذي تقدّمت به المملكة نيابةً عن دول مجلس التعاون والأردن، وحظي بدعم 136 دولة في تعبيرٍ عن إرادةٍ دوليةٍ جامعة، فإنها تؤكد أنّ تمادي طهران في عدوانها يمثّل تحدياً مباشراً لهذه الإرادة الدولية».
ولفتت إلى أنه بعد أن تعهّدت طهران بوقفٍ دائمٍ للعمليات العسكرية واحترام سيادة دول المنطقة، بموجب مذكرة تفاهم إسلام أباد الموقّعة في 17 يونيو 2026، فإن «عدوانها الغادر يكشف استخفافها بالمجتمع الدولي وبما قطعته على نفسها من التزامات».
وأكدت الخارجية البحرينية احتفاظ المملكة بكامل حقها المشروع في الدفاع عن سيادتها وأمنها واستقرارها وفق القانون الدولي. ودعت مجلس الأمن إلى تحمّل مسؤولياته في ضمان تنفيذ قراره ومحاسبة المعتدي.
The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the targeting of its territory by a number of Iranian drones, in a blatant violation of its sovereignty, a flagrant threat to the security of citizens and residents, and a gross breach of international norms and treaties that prohibit targeting civilian objects and terrorizing the safe.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced this heinous aggression in a statement today, Saturday, emphasizing that the continuation of the Iranian regime's attacks, at a time when regional and international efforts are moving towards de-escalation, places the responsibility for undermining peace efforts solely on Tehran, revealing an approach based on destabilizing security, exporting chaos, and undermining regional stability.
It stated: “Based on the Kingdom's steadfast principles, the ministry reaffirms that peace is not built through intimidation, that security is not seized through aggression, and that Bahrain's resolve is stronger than any threat, and that its national unity is impervious to those who think that continuing aggression will deter the dignified from their principles or diminish their determination.”
It added: “While recalling Security Council Resolution No. 2817 (2026), which the Kingdom presented on behalf of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and Jordan, and which received the support of 136 countries in expression of a collective international will, it confirms that Tehran's persistence in its aggression represents a direct challenge to this international will.”
It pointed out that after Tehran pledged to a permanent cessation of military operations and to respect the sovereignty of the countries in the region, under the Islamabad Memorandum signed on June 17, 2026, its “treacherous aggression reveals its contempt for the international community and for the commitments it made.”
The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the Kingdom's full right to defend its sovereignty, security, and stability in accordance with international law. It called on the Security Council to assume its responsibilities in ensuring the implementation of its resolution and holding the aggressor accountable.
