دعا الاتحاد الأوروبي، اليوم (الإثنين)، إسرائيل إلى وقف عملياتها العسكرية في لبنان فوراً، وسط تصاعد التوتر على الجبهة الجنوبية وإصدار الجيش الإسرائيلي تحذيرات مباشرة لسكان الضاحية الجنوبية في بيروت.
وقال المتحدث باسم الاتحاد الأوروبي إن التكتل يدعو إلى وقف التصعيد العسكري بشكل فوري، مؤكداً ضرورة احترام سيادة لبنان وسلامة أراضيه في ظل الغارات الجوية المستمرة والتوغلات في جنوب لبنان، والتحذيرات المتكررة بشأن احتمال استهداف الضاحية الجنوبية.
تهديد إسرائيلي باستهداف بيروت
في المقابل، أصدر جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي اليوم إنذاراً عاجلاً لسكان مناطق في الضاحية الجنوبية لبيروت، مطالباً إياهم بإخلاء المنطقة فوراً.
ونشر المتحدث باسم الجيش الإسرائيلي للإعلام العربي أفيخاي أدرعي رسالة عاجلة عبر منصة «إكس»، محذراً من أن استمرار إطلاق الصواريخ من حزب الله سيؤدي إلى رد عسكري مباشر قد يشمل استهداف مواقع داخل الضاحية الجنوبية، معقل حزب الله الرئيسي.
ويأتي هذا التهديد عقب أوامر من رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو للجيش بالاستعداد لتنفيذ ضربات داخل العاصمة اللبنانية، وفقاً لتقارير إعلامية، كما أفادت مصادر بأن الخطط الإسرائيلية تم تنسيقها مع الولايات المتحدة.
فرنسا تمنع مشاركة إسرائيلية في معرض دفاعي
وفي سياق متصل، أعلنت وزارة الدفاع الإسرائيلية اليوم أن السلطات الفرنسية قررت منع مشاركة ممثلين حكوميين إسرائيليين في معرض «يوروساتوري» الدفاعي الكبير، المقرر إقامته في باريس خلال يونيو الجاري.
يأتي هذا التصعيد في إطار المواجهة المستمرة بين إسرائيل وحزب الله منذ أكتوبر 2023، والتي شهدت فترات من الهدوء النسبي بعد اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار في نوفمبر 2024، إلا أن الخروقات الأمنية والعسكرية لم تتوقف تماماً.
ويحافظ الاتحاد الأوروبي على موقف يدعو إلى وقف التصعيد وحل سياسي يحترم سيادة لبنان، مع القلق المتزايد من انهيار الوضع الإنساني في لبنان الذي يعاني أصلاً من أزمة اقتصادية وسياسية حادة.
The European Union called on Israel today (Monday) to immediately cease its military operations in Lebanon, amid escalating tensions on the southern front and direct warnings issued by the Israeli army to residents of the southern suburbs of Beirut.
The EU spokesperson stated that the bloc urges an immediate halt to military escalation, emphasizing the necessity of respecting Lebanon's sovereignty and territorial integrity in light of ongoing airstrikes and incursions in southern Lebanon, as well as repeated warnings regarding the potential targeting of the southern suburbs.
Israeli Threat to Target Beirut
In response, the Israeli occupation army issued an urgent warning today to residents of areas in the southern suburbs of Beirut, demanding that they evacuate the area immediately.
The spokesperson for the Israeli army for Arab media, Avichai Adraee, posted an urgent message via the platform "X," warning that the continued firing of rockets by Hezbollah would lead to a direct military response that could include targeting sites within the southern suburbs, Hezbollah's main stronghold.
This threat comes following orders from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the army to prepare to carry out strikes within the Lebanese capital, according to media reports, with sources indicating that the Israeli plans have been coordinated with the United States.
France Prevents Israeli Participation in Defense Exhibition
In a related context, the Israeli Ministry of Defense announced today that French authorities have decided to prevent Israeli government representatives from participating in the major defense exhibition "Eurosatory," scheduled to take place in Paris this June.
This escalation is part of the ongoing confrontation between Israel and Hezbollah since October 2023, which has seen periods of relative calm following a ceasefire agreement in November 2024; however, security and military violations have not completely ceased.
The European Union maintains a position calling for de-escalation and a political solution that respects Lebanon's sovereignty, amid increasing concerns over the collapse of the humanitarian situation in Lebanon, which is already suffering from a severe economic and political crisis.
