نفى الرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون اليوم (السبت) عزم بلاده نشر سفن حربية في مضيق هرمز، موضحاً أن باريس لم تفكر مطلقاً بنشر سفن حربية في مضيق هرمز، بل القيام بمهمة تأمين للملاحة البحرية منسّقة مع إيران.
وأكد ماكرون خلال مؤتمر صحفي في نيروبي تمسكه بهذا الموقف، وذلك بعد تهديد مسؤول إيراني برد حاسم وفوري على فرنسا وبريطانيا في حال نشرتا سفناً حربية في المضيق.
ونقل التلفزيون الإيراني عن مساعد وزير الخارجية كاظم غريب أبادي قوله إن أي تحرك فرنسي بريطاني في مضيق هرمز بدعوى تعزيز حرية الملاحة يمثل عسكرة لممر مائي حيوي، ما يدفع طهران للرد.
وحذر أبادي من نشر مدمرات في محيط مضيق هرمز تحت مزاعم حماية الملاحة، مبيناً أنه لن يؤدي إلا لتصعيد الأزمة.
وأكد مساعد وزير الخارجية أن توفير الأمن للملاحة لن يتحقق عبر استعراض القوة العسكرية، لاسيما من قبل أطراف تعد هي نفسها جزءاً من المشكلات.
وأضاف: «مضيق هرمز ليس ملكاً مشاعاً للقوى من خارج المنطقة، بل هو ممر مائي حساس مجاور للدول المشاطئة».
في غضون ذلك، قال مسؤول حكومي باكستاني اليوم إن بلاده تلقت رد إيران على المقترح الأمريكي، وأرسلته إلى الولايات المتحدة.
وكانت وكالة الأنباء الإيرانية الرسمية (إرنا) ذكرت أن طهران أرسلت ردها على المقترح الأمريكي بشأن إنهاء الحرب عبر باكستان، مبينة أن الخطة المقترحة تشمل تركيز المفاوضات في هذه المرحلة على إنهاء الحرب.
في حين قال التلفزيون الإيراني إن رد طهران على المقترح الأمريكي يتضمن إنهاء الحرب على جميع الجبهات، لاسيما لبنان.
French President Emmanuel Macron denied today (Saturday) his country's intention to deploy warships in the Strait of Hormuz, clarifying that Paris has never considered deploying warships in the Strait of Hormuz, but rather to carry out a mission to secure maritime navigation coordinated with Iran.
Macron confirmed during a press conference in Nairobi his adherence to this position, following a threat from an Iranian official of a decisive and immediate response against France and Britain if they deployed warships in the strait.
Iranian television quoted Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharib Abadi as saying that any French-British move in the Strait of Hormuz under the pretext of enhancing freedom of navigation represents the militarization of a vital waterway, prompting Tehran to respond.
Abadi warned against the deployment of destroyers in the vicinity of the Strait of Hormuz under the claims of protecting navigation, indicating that it would only escalate the crisis.
The Deputy Foreign Minister emphasized that providing security for navigation cannot be achieved through displays of military force, especially by parties that are themselves part of the problems.
He added: “The Strait of Hormuz is not a common property for powers from outside the region, but rather a sensitive waterway adjacent to the coastal states.”
Meanwhile, a Pakistani government official said today that his country received Iran's response to the American proposal and sent it to the United States.
The official Iranian news agency (IRNA) reported that Tehran sent its response to the American proposal regarding ending the war through Pakistan, indicating that the proposed plan focuses negotiations at this stage on ending the war.
Iranian television stated that Tehran's response to the American proposal includes ending the war on all fronts, particularly in Lebanon.
