نجحت الأجهزة الأمنية المصرية في توجيه ضربة قوية لتجار المخدرات، بعدما تمكنت من ضبط شحنة ضخمة من المواد المخدرة بمحافظة السويس، تُقدّر قيمتها المالية بنحو 116 مليون جنيه.
وبحسب بيان صادر عن وزارة الداخلية المصرية، تعود تفاصيل الواقعة إلى ورود معلومات وتحريات أكدت قيام عناصر إجرامية بمحاولة جلب كميات كبيرة من المواد المخدرة تمهيداً لترويجها داخل البلاد، مٌتخذين من إحدى المناطق بالظهير الصحراوي بدائرة قسم شرطة الجناين بالسويس مسرحاً لمزاولة نشاطهم الإجرامي، إذ تم إعداد الأكمنة اللازمة بالتنسيق بين الجهات المختصة.
وبتقنين الإجراءات، تمكنت القوات من ضبط المتهمين وبحوزتهم نحو طنيْن من المواد المخدرة المتنوعة (هيدرو – حشيش – آيس) قبل ترويجها في الأسواق، في واحدة من أكبر الضبطيات خلال الفترة الأخيرة.
وقدّرت الجهات المختصة القيمة المالية للمضبوطات بنحو 116 مليون جنيه، فيما تم اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة، وإحالة المتهمين إلى جهات التحقيق لمباشرة أعمالها.
وتأتي هذه الضبطية في إطار جهود وزارة الداخلية لمكافحة جرائم جلب والاتجار في المواد المخدرة، وإحكام السيطرة الأمنية على المنافذ والمنافذ الحدودية، حفاظاً على أمن المجتمع.
The Egyptian security forces succeeded in delivering a strong blow to drug traffickers, after they managed to seize a massive shipment of narcotic substances in the Suez Governorate, estimated to be worth around 116 million Egyptian pounds.
According to a statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Interior, the details of the incident stem from information and investigations confirming that criminal elements were attempting to bring large quantities of narcotic substances in preparation for distributing them within the country, using an area in the desert outskirts of the Al-Janain Police Department in Suez as a base for their criminal activities. Necessary ambushes were prepared in coordination with the relevant authorities.
After legal procedures were put in place, the forces managed to arrest the suspects, seizing approximately two tons of various narcotic substances (hydro – hashish – ice) before they could be distributed in the markets, in one of the largest seizures in recent times.
The relevant authorities estimated the financial value of the seized items at around 116 million Egyptian pounds, while necessary legal actions were taken, and the suspects were referred to the investigative authorities to proceed with their work.
This seizure comes as part of the Ministry of Interior's efforts to combat the crimes of trafficking and dealing in narcotic substances, and to tighten security control over border crossings and outlets, in order to maintain community safety.
