أعلنت وزارة الداخلية بأنه إشارة لما تم تداوله على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي من محتوى من شأنه المساس بالوحدة الوطنية وتهديد السلم والأمن والمجتمع، متضمناً عبارات مثيرة للتعصب القبلي المقيت، فإن الجهات المختصة باشرت - في حينه - اتخاذ الإجراءات النظامية بحق المتورطين.
وحذرت وزارة الداخلية من كل ما من شأنه المساس بالنظام العام، مؤكدة أن الجهات الأمنية تقف بحزم أمام كل من يحاول النيل من اللحمة الوطنية بإثارة النعرات القبلية المقيتة، وأن الجزاء الرادع سوف يكون مصيره.
