قُتل قياديان بارزان في وحدة الارتباط التابعة لحزب الله اللبناني خلال سلسلة غارات جوية استهدفت مواقع في بيروت، في إطار تصعيد العمليات العسكرية داخل الأراضي اللبنانية، وفق ما أعلن الجيش الإسرائيلي.
وكشفت تقارير إعلامية لبنانية مقتل 9 في غارات إسرائيلية على مناطق مختلفة من جنوب لبنان، بينهم 5 مسعفين.
وأفاد الجيش الإسرائيلي بأن الضربات التي نُفذت خلال الليلة الماضية طالت عشرات البنى التحتية التابعة للحزب، وأسفرت عن مقتل كل من أيوب حسين يعقوب، وياسر محمد مبارك، وهما من القيادات البارزة في وحدة الارتباط، لافتاً إلى أن مبارك كان يشغل منصباً في وحدة الصواريخ التابعة للحزب.
وحسب معطيات إسرائيلية، فإن يعقوب سبق أن تولى مواقع قيادية في وحدة الصواريخ، وشارك في تطوير قدراتها، إضافة إلى دوره في توجيه عمليات إطلاق الصواريخ باتجاه إسرائيل خلال العمليات الأخيرة.
ونفذ الجيش الإسرائيلي هجمات جوية وبحرية متزامنة استهدفت عشرات المواقع في مناطق مختلفة من جنوب لبنان، في إطار دعم القوات العاملة ميدانياً، وتقليص القدرات العسكرية لحزب الله في المنطقة.
واستهدفت الضربات مستودعات أسلحة ومنصات إطلاق صواريخ، ومباني عسكرية، وبنى تحتية أخرى، قال الجيش إنها تُستخدم لأغراض عسكرية، ما يؤكد توسيع نطاق العمليات لتشمل أهدافاً متعددة في العمق اللبناني.
وأفاد الجيش الإسرائيلي بإسقاط 4 طائرات مسيرة اخترقت المجال الجوي في الشمال اليوم (السبت)، وتم اعتراض 3 منها، وسقطت الرابعة في منطقة يوكنعام بعد مطاردة، دون تسجيل إصابات.
ووجه المتحدث باسم الجيش الإسرائيلي أفيخاي أدرعي إنذاراً عاجلاً إلى سكان عدد من القرى في جنوب لبنان، داعياً إلى إخلاء منازلهم والتوجه شمال نهر الزهراني، وحذر من أن العمليات العسكرية ستتواصل في تلك المناطق.
وذكر أن هذه التحذيرات تأتي على خلفية أنشطة حزب الله، مؤكداً أن الجيش لا يستهدف المدنيين، لكنه سيواصل عملياته ضد مواقع الحزب في المناطق المحددة.
Two prominent leaders in the liaison unit of the Lebanese Hezbollah were killed during a series of airstrikes targeting sites in Beirut, as part of an escalation of military operations within Lebanese territory, according to the Israeli army.
Lebanese media reports revealed that 9 people were killed in Israeli airstrikes on various areas of southern Lebanon, including 5 paramedics.
The Israeli army reported that the strikes carried out last night targeted dozens of the party's infrastructure and resulted in the deaths of Ayoub Hussein Yacoub and Yasser Mohammed Mubarak, both prominent leaders in the liaison unit, noting that Mubarak held a position in the party's missile unit.
According to Israeli data, Yacoub had previously held leadership positions in the missile unit and participated in developing its capabilities, in addition to his role in directing missile launches towards Israel during recent operations.
The Israeli army conducted simultaneous air and naval attacks targeting dozens of sites in various areas of southern Lebanon, as part of supporting the forces operating on the ground and reducing Hezbollah's military capabilities in the region.
The strikes targeted weapon depots, missile launch platforms, military buildings, and other infrastructure, which the army stated were used for military purposes, confirming the expansion of operations to include multiple targets deep within Lebanon.
The Israeli army reported the downing of 4 drones that penetrated the airspace in the north today (Saturday), with 3 of them intercepted, and the fourth falling in the Yokneam area after a chase, without any injuries reported.
The spokesperson for the Israeli army, Avichai Adraee, issued an urgent warning to residents of several villages in southern Lebanon, urging them to evacuate their homes and head north of the Zahrani River, warning that military operations would continue in those areas.
He mentioned that these warnings come in light of Hezbollah's activities, emphasizing that the army does not target civilians but will continue its operations against the party's sites in the specified areas.
