أرسلت مصر مساعدات إغاثية عاجلة إلى لبنان لتوفير الاحتياجات الأساسية والتخفيف من وطأة أزمة النزوح الداخلي التي وصلت إلى نحو المليون نازح من المواطنين اللبنانيين، وذلك على متن سفينة مساعدات وصلت بيروت مساء الثلاثاء.
وبحسب بيان صادر عن وزارة الخارجية المصرية، بلغت حملة سفينة المساعدات الإغاثية نحو 1000 طن، وشملت السلال الغذائية والبطاطين ومستلزمات الإيواء، بالإضافة إلى الأدوية والمستلزمات الطبية المتنوعة، وذلك لتمكين السلطات اللبنانية من التعامل مع التداعيات الصحية للأزمة الراهنة وسد العجز في القطاع الطبي اللبناني.
وتؤكد مصر موقفها الثابت الداعم للدولة اللبنانية على كافة الأصعدة، والرافض للاعتداءات الإسرائيلية المتكررة والتوغل داخل الأراضي اللبنانية، بما يمثل خرقا واضحا للقانون الدولي وقرار مجلس الأمن رقم 1701، والتي تعد مساسا مرفوضا بسيادة لبنان ووحدة وسلامة أراضيه.
وفي هذا الإطار تجدد مصر دعمها الكامل لجهود مؤسسات الدولة اللبنانية في بسط سلطتها على كامل ترابها الوطني، وتطالب بالوقف الفوري للانتهاكات والاعتداءات الإسرائيلية.
Egypt has sent urgent relief aid to Lebanon to provide basic needs and alleviate the burden of the internal displacement crisis, which has reached nearly one million displaced Lebanese citizens, aboard a relief ship that arrived in Beirut on Tuesday evening.
According to a statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the relief aid shipment amounted to about 1,000 tons, including food baskets, blankets, and shelter supplies, in addition to various medicines and medical supplies, to enable the Lebanese authorities to address the health repercussions of the current crisis and to fill the gap in the Lebanese medical sector.
Egypt reaffirms its steadfast position supporting the Lebanese state on all fronts and rejecting the repeated Israeli assaults and incursions into Lebanese territory, which represent a clear violation of international law and UN Security Council Resolution 1701, and constitute an unacceptable infringement on Lebanon's sovereignty and the unity and integrity of its territory.
In this context, Egypt reiterates its full support for the efforts of Lebanese state institutions to assert their authority over all of their national territory, and calls for an immediate cessation of Israeli violations and assaults.
