نفت القيادة المركزية الأمريكية، اليوم (الأحد)، ما تداولته وسائل الإعلام الإيرانية عن إسقاط مقاتلة أمريكية من طراز F-15، معلنة تنفيذ 8000 طلعة جوية منذ بدء الحرب على إيران.
وكانت إيران قد زعمت أن دفاعاتها الجوية أسقطت مقاتلة من طراز إف-15 في جنوب البلاد، وذلك بعد أيام من حديث مماثل عن استهداف مقاتلتي إف-35 وإف-16.
من جهة أخرى، قال الأمين العام لحلف شمال الأطلسي (الناتو) مارك روته إن مخططين عسكريين يعكفون على وضع خطة لتأمين حرية الملاحة في مضيق هرمز، موضحاً أنه أجرى عدة اتصالات بالرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب لبحث تطورات الحرب الحالية في الشرق الأوسط.
وكان التلفزيون الإيراني نقل عن الرئيس الإيراني مسعود بزشكيان قوله إن مضيق هرمز مفتوح أمام سفن جميع الدول باستثناء من وصفهم بـ«المعتدين» على الأراضي الإيرانية.
وأضاف بزشكيان، الأحد: «محو إيران من الخارطة وهم»، مشدداً على أن التهديدات لا تزيد الشعب الإيراني إلا صلابة وتلاحماً.
وتابع: «سنرد على التهديدات المتهورة بحزم، ولكن في الميدان»، وذلك في إشارة إلى تهديدات الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب بتوجيه ضربات عسكرية لمحطات الطاقة في إيران، في حال لم تقم طهران بفتح مضيق هرمز بشكل كامل، خلال مهلة لا تتجاوز 48 ساعة.
فيما قال الحرس الثوري الإيراني إنه إذا نفذ الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب تهديده باستهداف محطات الطاقة في إيران، فإنه سيغلق مضيق هرمز بالكامل، مبيناً أن «مضيق هرمز مغلق فقط أمام الأعداء والتحركات الضارة، ولم يتم إغلاقه بالكامل بعد، وهو تحت سيطرتنا وتتم حركة المرور غير الضارة وفق ضوابط خاصة تضمن أمننا ومصالحنا».
The U.S. Central Command denied today (Sunday) the claims made by Iranian media about the downing of an American F-15 fighter jet, announcing that it has conducted 8,000 air sorties since the start of the war against Iran.
Iran had claimed that its air defenses shot down an F-15 fighter jet in the south of the country, just days after similar reports about the targeting of F-35 and F-16 jets.
On another note, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that military planners are working on a plan to secure freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, explaining that he has made several calls to U.S. President Donald Trump to discuss the developments of the current war in the Middle East.
The Iranian television reported President Masoud Bezhakian as saying that the Strait of Hormuz is open to ships from all countries except those he described as "aggressors" against Iranian territory.
Bezhakian added on Sunday: "Wiping Iran off the map is a fantasy," emphasizing that threats only make the Iranian people more resilient and united.
He continued: "We will respond to reckless threats firmly, but on the battlefield," referring to President Donald Trump's threats to launch military strikes on energy facilities in Iran if Tehran does not fully open the Strait of Hormuz within a deadline of no more than 48 hours.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard stated that if President Donald Trump carries out his threat to target energy facilities in Iran, it will completely close the Strait of Hormuz, indicating that "the Strait of Hormuz is only closed to enemies and harmful movements, and it has not been completely closed yet; it is under our control, and non-harmful traffic is conducted according to specific regulations that ensure our security and interests."
