أكد المتحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية القطرية، ماجد الأنصاري، أن وقف الهجمات الإيرانية على دول المنطقة لا يحتاج إلى لجان تحقيق أو تشكيل فرق مشتركة، وإنما يتطلب قراراً واضحاً من الطرف المعتدي بوقف اعتداءاته على الدول التي لم تستهدفه.
وقال الأنصاري، رداً على تصريحات لوزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي: «المسألة بسيطة للغاية، والمطلوب وقف الهجمات على الدول التي لم تستهدف إيران»، مشدداً على أن دولة قطر، إلى جانب بقية دول المنطقة، نأت بنفسها عن هذه الحرب والتصعيد منذ اليوم الأول.
وأضاف: إن دولة قطر ستواصل الدفاع عن نفسها وتحتفظ بحق الرد على هذه الاعتداءات، مشيراً إلى أن الهجمات الإيرانية استهدفت خلال الفترة الماضية منشآت مدنية وحيوية بدولة قطر، بما في ذلك مناطق سكنية ومنشآت في رأس لفان ومسيعيد ومطار حمد الدولي.
وحول التحركات الدبلوماسية، قال الأنصاري خلال إحاطة إعلامية أسبوعية لوزارة الخارجية: إن الاتصالات بين المسؤولين في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي مستمرة بشكل شبه يومي وعلى مختلف المستويات، مؤكداً أن دول الخليج تتحدث اليوم بصوت واحد مع العالم في رفض الاعتداءات الإيرانية، وفي الدعوة إلى خفض التصعيد.
وكان الانصاري قد قال في وقت سابق إن بلاده «ليست على علم بأي وساطة رسمية بين أمريكا وإيران في الوقت الحالي»، مشدداً على ضرورة وقف طهران لـ«الهجمات حتى نتمكن من إيجاد حل دبلوماسي».
وأشار إلى أن «هجمات إيران وتهديداتها ضد أهداف مدنية لم تتوقف»، مبيناً أن «الاتصالات لا تزال جارية مع مختلف الأطراف لضمان بقاء مضيق هرمز مفتوحاً أمام وصول البضائع إلى الخليج، وتصدير منتجات الطاقة».
ولفت إلى أن «عمليات الإجلاء في أجزاء من الدوحة تمت (السبت) بعد إطلاق صاروخ إيراني على حي سكني وجرى اعتراضه».
وتأتي التصريحات القطرية في الوقت الذي أعلن مكتب أبوظبي الإعلامي أن الجهات المختصة في الإمارة تتعامل مع حادثة حريق في حقل شاه، ناجم عن استهداف لطائرة مسيرة، موضحاً في منشور على حسابه في «إكس» أن الحادث لم يسفر عن وقوع إصابات حتى الآن.
The spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Majid Al-Ansari, confirmed that stopping Iranian attacks on countries in the region does not require investigation committees or the formation of joint teams, but rather a clear decision from the aggressor to cease its assaults on countries that have not targeted it.
Al-Ansari stated, in response to comments from Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi: "The matter is very simple, and what is required is to stop the attacks on countries that have not targeted Iran," emphasizing that the State of Qatar, along with the other countries in the region, has distanced itself from this war and escalation since day one.
He added: The State of Qatar will continue to defend itself and reserves the right to respond to these aggressions, noting that Iranian attacks have targeted, in the past period, civilian and vital facilities in the State of Qatar, including residential areas and facilities in Ras Laffan, Mesaieed, and Hamad International Airport.
Regarding diplomatic movements, Al-Ansari said during a weekly media briefing for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Communications between officials in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries are ongoing almost daily at various levels, confirming that the Gulf states today speak with one voice to the world in rejecting Iranian aggressions and calling for de-escalation.
Al-Ansari had previously stated that his country "is not aware of any official mediation between the U.S. and Iran at the moment," stressing the need for Tehran to "stop the attacks so that we can find a diplomatic solution."
He pointed out that "Iran's attacks and threats against civilian targets have not stopped," indicating that "communications are still ongoing with various parties to ensure that the Strait of Hormuz remains open for the arrival of goods to the Gulf and the export of energy products."
He noted that "evacuations in parts of Doha took place (on Saturday) after an Iranian missile was fired at a residential neighborhood and was intercepted."
The Qatari statements come at a time when the Abu Dhabi Media Office announced that the relevant authorities in the emirate are dealing with an incident of fire in the Shah field, resulting from an attack on a drone, clarifying in a post on its account on "X" that the incident has not resulted in any injuries so far.
