على وقع التصعيد الأمني الذي شهدته الساعات القليلة الماضية من الحدود اللبنانية الجنوبية إلى الضاحية الجنوبية لبيروت، والتهديدات الإسرائيلية بتوسيع نطاق الضربات في لبنان، جرى مساء اليوم (الأربعاء)، اتصال ثلاثي جمع الرئيس اللبناني العماد جوزيف عون، والرئيس السوري أحمد الشرع، والرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون، بحثوا خلاله الأوضاع الراهنة في لبنان والمنطقة في ضوء المستجدات الأمنية المتسارعة.
وقيّم الرؤساء الثلاثة التصعيد الأمني واتفقوا على إبقاء التواصل في ما بينهم لمتابعة التطورات.
ويأتي هذا الاتصال في وقت تتصاعد فيه التهديدات الإسرائيلية بتوسيع العمليات العسكرية.
ونقلت القناة الـ12 الإسرائيلية عن مسؤول أن الدولة اللبنانية «أثبتت أنها ليست عاملاً قادراً على كبح حزب الله»، مشيراً إلى توجه لتوسيع العمليات بشكل كبير. وفي السياق نفسه، أكدت مصادر أمنية أمريكية لمسؤولين لبنانيين أن إسرائيل تتجه فعلياً لتصعيد كبير الليلة.
في السياق نفسه، صعّد المتحدث باسم الجيش الإسرائيلي أفيخاي أدرعي من لهجته، معتبراً أن حزب الله «أطلق العصف المأكول»، مضيفاً أن إسرائيل سترد «الصاع صاعين».
وأشار إلى أن «الميدان سيثبت أن الصاع صاعين والآتي أعظم».
ميدانياً، نفذ الطيران الحربي الإسرائيلي سلسلة غارات استهدفت بلدات الخيام، وكفركلا، والعديسة، تزامناً مع قصف مدفعي ثقيل طال محيط الناقورة وعلما الشعب.
كما رُصدت تحركات برية مكثفة عند أطراف بلدة مارون الراس ومحاولات توغل في خلة المحافر بالعديسة، إذ دارت اشتباكات عنيفة بالأسلحة الرشاشة والقذائف الصاروخية.
In light of the security escalation that has occurred in the past few hours from the southern Lebanese border to the southern suburbs of Beirut, and the Israeli threats to expand the scope of strikes in Lebanon, a tripartite call took place this evening (Wednesday) involving Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun, Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara, and French President Emmanuel Macron. They discussed the current situation in Lebanon and the region in light of the rapidly evolving security developments.
The three presidents assessed the security escalation and agreed to maintain communication among themselves to monitor developments.
This call comes at a time when Israeli threats to expand military operations are increasing.
Israeli Channel 12 reported that an official stated that the Lebanese state "has proven that it is not a capable actor to restrain Hezbollah," indicating a direction towards significantly expanding operations. In the same context, American security sources confirmed to Lebanese officials that Israel is indeed heading for a major escalation tonight.
In the same context, Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee intensified his rhetoric, considering that Hezbollah "has unleashed the eaten storm," adding that Israel will respond "with a double blow."
He pointed out that "the field will prove that the blow is double and that what is coming is greater."
On the ground, the Israeli warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes targeting the towns of Khyam, Kfar Kila, and Adaisseh, coinciding with heavy artillery shelling that affected the vicinity of Naqoura and Alama al-Shaab.
Intensive ground movements were also observed at the outskirts of the town of Maroun al-Ras and attempts to infiltrate in the Al-Mahafers area in Adaisseh, where fierce clashes erupted with automatic weapons and rocket shells.
