ثمّن مدير عام المؤسسة العامة للكهرباء بالعاصمة اليمنية المؤقتة عدن، سالم الوليدي، الدور الريادي والمحوري الذي تضطلع به المملكة العربية السعودية في استعادة شريان الحياة في عدن ومساندة الشعب اليمني.
وأكد الوليدي في تصريح خاص لـ«عكاظ» أن منحة الوقود السعودية التي دشنت عملياتها الشهر الماضي، أحدثت نقلة نوعية واستقراراً غير مسبوق في منظومة التيار الكهربائي.
استقرار تاريخي
وكشف الوليدي، عن نجاح المؤسسة في إعادة محطات التوليد كافة إلى الخدمة والعمل بكامل طاقتها الإنتاجية، بعد توقف قسري دام قرابة أربعة أشهر نتيجة نفاد الوقود، مشيراً إلى أن العاصمة عدن تعيش اليوم واقعاً خدمياً مغايراً، بعد أن قفزت ساعات التشغيل لتصل إلى 23 ساعة يومياً، مقابل ساعة انطفاء واحدة فقط؛ وهو معدل قياسي لم تشهده المدينة منذ سنوات طويلة، واصفاً هذا التحسن بـ«غير المسبوق».
عطاء بلا حدود
وقال الوليدي: «نستقبل شهر رمضان المبارك بكهرباء مستقرة بفضل الله أولاً، ثم بفضل وقفات مملكة الخير والعطاء التي لم تدخر جهداً في إغاثة الشعب اليمني، عبر ذراعها التنموية «البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن»، وبجهود حثيثة ومتابعة مستمرة يقودها المشرف العام على البرنامج، سفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى اليمن، محمد بن سعيد آل جابر، الذي يبرهن يوماً بعد آخر عمق الروابط الأخوية والمصير المشترك».
خلية نحل ميدانية
وأشاد مدير عام كهرباء عدن بالجهود الميدانية الدؤوبة التي يبذلها ممثل المملكة والتحالف في اليمن المستشار فلاح الشهراني، مؤكداً أنه يعمل مع الفرق الفنية كـ«خلية نحل» وعلى مدار الساعة، لضمان تدفق الوقود بشكل سلس ومنتظم إلى المحطات كافة، وتذليل العقبات اللوجستية كافة لضمان استمرار الخدمة للمواطنين.
واختتم الوليدي بالتأكيد على أن هذا الدعم السخي ليس بمستغرب على قيادة المملكة، التي كانت ولا تزال السند المتين لليمن في مختلف الظروف والمراحل، مشدداً على أن هذه المنحة هي «طوق النجاة» الذي أنقذ الخدمة من الانهيار وأعاد الحياة للشوارع والمنازل في عدن.
The General Director of the Public Electricity Corporation in the temporary Yemeni capital, Aden, Salem Al-Walidi, valued the pioneering and central role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in restoring the lifeline in Aden and supporting the Yemeni people.
Al-Walidi confirmed in a special statement to "Okaz" that the Saudi fuel grant, which commenced its operations last month, has brought about a qualitative leap and unprecedented stability in the electricity system.
Historical Stability
Al-Walidi revealed the success of the corporation in returning all power generation stations to service and operating at full production capacity, after a forced shutdown that lasted nearly four months due to fuel depletion. He pointed out that the capital, Aden, is now experiencing a different service reality, with operating hours jumping to 23 hours daily, compared to only one hour of blackout; a record rate that the city has not seen in many years, describing this improvement as "unprecedented."
Giving Without Limits
Al-Walidi said: "We welcome the blessed month of Ramadan with stable electricity, thanks to God first, and then to the efforts of the Kingdom of Good and Giving, which has spared no effort in aiding the Yemeni people, through its developmental arm, the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, and with the diligent efforts and continuous follow-up led by the General Supervisor of the program, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Yemen, Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Jaber, who proves day after day the depth of brotherly ties and shared destiny."
A Field Beehive
Al-Walidi praised the tireless field efforts made by the Kingdom's representative and the coalition in Yemen, Advisor Falah Al-Shahrani, confirming that he works with the technical teams like a "beehive" around the clock, to ensure a smooth and regular flow of fuel to all stations, and to overcome all logistical obstacles to ensure the continuity of service for citizens.
Al-Walidi concluded by emphasizing that this generous support is not surprising from the leadership of the Kingdom, which has been and remains a strong support for Yemen in various circumstances and stages, stressing that this grant is the "lifeline" that saved the service from collapse and brought life back to the streets and homes in Aden.
