أطلقت المملكة المتحدة والصين شراكة إستراتيجية شاملة تهدف إلى توسيع التعاون الاقتصادي والتجاري، وفتح آفاق جديدة أمام الشركات البريطانية في السوق الصينية، بما يسهم في دعم النمو الاقتصادي وتعزيز فرص العمل في بريطانيا.
جاء ذلك خلال زيارة رئيس الوزراء البريطاني كير ستارمر إلى بكين، حيث اتفق الجانبان على توسيع الشراكات في قطاعات الخدمات الصحية والمالية والمهنية والقانونية، إضافةً إلى التعليم والتدريب، إلى جانب إجراء دراسة جدوى مشتركة لبحث التفاوض على اتفاقية ثنائية لتجارة الخدمات، بما يوفر إطارًا قانونيًا واضحًا لعمل الشركات البريطانية في الصين.
وشملت الاتفاقات تخفيف الصين متطلبات التأشيرة للمواطنين البريطانيين للزيارات القصيرة، إلى جانب تعزيز التعاون في مجالات التجارة والاستثمار والتعليم والصحة والأمن الغذائي والصناعات الرياضية، فضلًا عن توقيع حزمة من الاتفاقيات الهادفة إلى تعزيز التنسيق الاقتصادي والتجاري بين البلدين، بما يعكس متانة العلاقات الثنائية وحرص الجانبين على تطويرها بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة.
بريطانيا والصين: إطلاق شراكة إستراتيجية شاملة
The United Kingdom and China have launched a comprehensive strategic partnership aimed at expanding economic and trade cooperation, opening new horizons for British companies in the Chinese market, which contributes to supporting economic growth and enhancing job opportunities in Britain.
This came during British Prime Minister Keir Starmer's visit to Beijing, where both sides agreed to expand partnerships in the sectors of health, finance, professional services, and law, in addition to education and training, along with conducting a joint feasibility study to explore negotiating a bilateral agreement on trade in services, providing a clear legal framework for British companies operating in China.
The agreements included China easing visa requirements for British citizens for short visits, as well as enhancing cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, education, health, food security, and sports industries, in addition to signing a package of agreements aimed at strengthening economic and trade coordination between the two countries, reflecting the robustness of bilateral relations and both sides' commitment to developing them in a way that serves mutual interests.
