ألقت شرطة العاصمة البريطانية القبض على 86 شخصًا، للاشتباه في محاولتهم اقتحام سجن بيلمارش الشهير في لندن، خلال احتجاجات تضامنية مع الناشط هادي حمادي، أحد أبرز أعضاء حركة «فلسطين أكشن»، المضرب عن الطعام منذ أكثر من 100 يوم.
وقالت الشرطة في بيان رسمي إن الحادثة وقعت السبت، بعد تجمع مئات المتظاهرين أمام بوابات السجن، حيث حاول عدد منهم اقتحام المنشأة، مطالبين بالإفراج الفوري عن حمادي أو تحسين ظروف احتجازه.
اتهامات رسمية بالاقتحام
وأوضحت الشرطة أن الاعتقالات جاءت بتهم «الاقتحام العنيف»، والتجمهر غير القانوني، والتسبب في أعمال شغب، مؤكدة أن قوات الأمن تدخلت لمنع اختراق محيط السجن والحفاظ على سلامة العاملين والمنشأة.
قلق حكومي متصاعد
ووصف متحدث باسم وزارة العدل البريطانية الحادثة بأنها «مقلقة للغاية»، قائلاً: «إن تصاعد الاحتجاجات في سجن وورموود سكرابز أمر غير مقبول بتاتًا، وبينما ندعم الحق في الاحتجاج السلمي، فإن التقارير الواردة عن التعدي على ممتلكات الغير والتهديدات الموجهة للموظفين وضباط الشرطة تثير قلقًا بالغًا».
إضراب عن الطعام
ويُحتجز هادي حمادي في سجن بيلمارش منذ أشهر، على خلفية تهم تتعلق بأعمال تخريب استهدفت شركات يُعتقد أنها تدعم إسرائيل، فيما دخل في إضراب مفتوح عن الطعام منذ أكثر من 100 يوم، احتجاجًا على ما يصفه بـ«الظروف القاسية» و«المحاكمة السياسية».
مخاوف على حياته
وأثارت حالته الصحية الحرجة قلقًا واسعًا بين النشطاء والمنظمات الحقوقية، التي طالبت بالإفراج عنه بكفالة أو نقله فورًا إلى أحد المستشفيات، محذّرة من تدهور وشيك قد يهدد حياته.
«فلسطين أكشن» ترد
من جانبها، أكدت حركة «فلسطين أكشن» أن ما جرى كان «عملية تضامن سلمية» تهدف إلى لفت الانتباه إلى قضية حمادي، واتهمت السلطات البريطانية بـ«القمع السياسي» للنشطاء الداعمين للقضية الفلسطينية.
وأضافت الحركة أن الاعتقالات الجماعية لن تثنيها عن مواصلة حملاتها، مشددة على أن قضية حمادي تمثل نموذجًا لما تصفه باستهداف الأصوات المناصرة لفلسطين داخل بريطانيا.
