فيما تتواصل المعارك بين قوات الجيش السوداني والدعم السريع، كشف مصدر عسكري أن القوات المسلحة تقترب من فك حصار مدينة الدلنج في ولاية جنوب كردفان.
وأكد شهود عيان، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، أن قوة من الدعم السريع هاجمت عدة قرى وبلدات في منطقة سوق قرية أم بركات بمحلية أمُ دم حاج أحمد، في ولاية شمال كردفان وسط البلاد، ونهبت القوة المهاجمة ممتلكات المواطنين وأطلقت الرصاص عليهم.
وحسب المصدر العسكري، فإن وحدات من الجيش مدعومة بالقوات المشتركة المساندة لها قامت بعمليات تمشيط لعدد من المناطق في محيط مدينة بارا ومناطق أم سوط والدنكوج بولاية شمال كردفان.
وأفاد بأن الدفاعات الجوية في الأبيض عاصمة شمال كردفان تصدت صباحا لمسيرة تابعة للدعم حاولت استهداف عدة مواقع في المدينة.
وبالتزامن مع التطورات الميدانية، تستمر حركة النازحين من مدينة كادوقلي المحاصرة من قبل الحركة الشعبية بقيادة الحلو والدعم السريع نحو مدينة الرهد أبودكنة في ولاية شمال كردفان.
وكانت شبكة أطباء السودان، دعت المنظمات الدولية بضرورة التدخل العاجل لفك حصار المدينة بعد خروج 50% من القطاع الصحي من الخدمة وتردي الأوضاع المعيشية للمواطنين.
يذكر أن قوات الدعم السريع كانت استولت على مدينة الفاشر، عاصمة شمال دارفور، نهاية العام الماضي بعد حصار طويل، ثم حولت المعارك بشكل رئيسي إلى منطقة كردفان.
من جانبه، أعرب المفوض السامي للأمم المتحدة لحقوق الإنسان فولكر تورك، الأحد الماضي، عن قلقه من تكرار سيناريو الفاشر في مدن كردفان فيما يعيش السودانيون في أهوال وجحيم الحرب.
ويشكّل إقليم كردفان الشاسع والمعروف بالزراعة وتربية الماشية، موقعا إستراتيجيا لحركة الوحدات العسكرية وعلى المستوى اللوجستي.
As battles continue between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces, a military source revealed that the armed forces are nearing the lifting of the siege on the city of Dilling in South Kordofan state.
Eyewitnesses confirmed today (Tuesday) that a force from the Rapid Support attacked several villages and towns in the area of the market in the village of Um Barkat in the locality of Um Dm Haj Ahmed, in North Kordofan state, looting citizens' properties and firing shots at them.
According to the military source, units of the army, supported by joint forces assisting them, conducted combing operations in several areas around the city of Bara and the areas of Um Sout and Dankoj in North Kordofan state.
It was reported that the air defenses in Al-Obeid, the capital of North Kordofan, intercepted a drone belonging to the Rapid Support Forces that attempted to target several locations in the city in the morning.
Simultaneously with the field developments, the movement of displaced people from the besieged city of Kadugli, surrounded by the Sudan People's Liberation Movement led by Al-Hilu and the Rapid Support Forces, continues towards the city of Al-Rahad Abu Dknah in North Kordofan state.
The Sudan Doctors Network had called on international organizations for urgent intervention to lift the siege on the city after 50% of the health sector went out of service and the living conditions of citizens deteriorated.
It is noteworthy that the Rapid Support Forces had seized the city of El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur, at the end of last year after a long siege, and then shifted the battles primarily to the Kordofan region.
For his part, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Turk, expressed his concern last Sunday about the repetition of the El Fasher scenario in the cities of Kordofan while Sudanese people are living in the horrors and hell of war.
The vast Kordofan region, known for agriculture and livestock breeding, is a strategic location for military units and logistical operations.
