أعلن وزير الإعلام اليمني معمر الإرياني، نجاح نقل جميعالعالقين من سقطرى إلى جدة بتسهيلات سعودية . وكشف أنه بداية من شهر فبراير القادم ستنطلق رحلات دولية مباشرة ومنتظمة بين سقطرى - جدة- سقطرى على متن الخطوط الجوية اليمنية، في رسالة طمأنة تؤكد عودة الاستقرار وتعزز الثقة بسقطرى وجهةً سياحيةً عالميةً آمنةً.
وأعلن في تغريدات عبر حسابه على منصة إكس، اليوم السبت، فتح خط دولي جديد من مطار المخا إلى مطار جده والعودة.
وأكد عودة الرحلات الداخلية من يوم غدٍ الأحد، وأن أول رحلة ستنطلق من مطار الغيضة بمحافظة المهرة إلى سقطرى، في خطوة تعكس انتظام الحركة الجوية وربط الأرخبيل داخلياً وخارجياً، وعودة الأوضاع إلى مسارها الطبيعي واستمرار الحياة بوتيرتها المعتادة.
وقال الإرياني: استكملت عملية وصول جميع السياح العالقين إلى مطار جدة الدولي، عقب مغادرة آخر رحلة إجلاء للخطوط الجوية اليمنية من مطار سقطرى وعلى متنها 109 ركاب، وبذلك يكون قد تم نقل كافة السياح الأجانب. وعبر وزير الإعلام عن الشكر والتقدير للأشقاء في السعودية على ما قدموه من تسهيلات وتعاون صادق أسهم بشكل مباشر في إنجاح هذه العملية الإنسانية.

He revealed that starting from February, direct and regular international flights will commence between Socotra - Jeddah - Socotra on Yemenia Airlines, in a reassuring message that confirms the return of stability and enhances confidence in Socotra as a safe global tourist destination.
He announced in tweets via his account on the X platform today, Saturday, the opening of a new international route from Al-Mokha Airport to Jeddah Airport and back.
He confirmed the resumption of domestic flights starting tomorrow, Sunday, with the first flight departing from Al-Ghaydah Airport in Al-Mahrah Governorate to Socotra, in a step that reflects the regularity of air traffic and connects the archipelago internally and externally, restoring conditions to their normal course and allowing life to continue at its usual pace.
Al-Eryani stated: The process of bringing all stranded tourists to King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah has been completed, following the departure of the last evacuation flight of Yemenia Airlines from Socotra Airport with 109 passengers on board, thus all foreign tourists have been transferred. The Minister of Information expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the brothers in Saudi Arabia for the facilities and sincere cooperation they provided, which directly contributed to the success of this humanitarian operation.
