أعلنت وزارة الداخلية السورية اليوم (الإثنين) إحباط عملية تهريب شحنة من المخدرات كانت متجهة من لبنان إلى العراق عبر الأراضي السورية.
وقالت الوزارة في بيان على حسابها في «إكس»: نفذت إدارة مكافحة المخدرات عمليةً أمنيةً نوعيةً، استناداً إلى معلومات دقيقة وردت من المديرية العامة لمكافحة المخدرات والمؤثرات العقلية في العراق وأسفرت عن إحباط تهريب المواد المخدرة التي كانت متجهة من لبنان إلى العراق عبر الأراضي السورية وتفكيك الشبكة المسؤولة عن عملية التهريب.
أوضحت الوزارة أنه خلال العملية تم القبض على 4 أشخاص وهم: «ي.هـ»، و«ع.د»، و«ن.د»، و«م.د»، كما جرى ضبط نحو 200 ألف حبة كبتاغون، مبينة أنه تمت مصادرة المضبوطات وإحالة المقبوض عليهم إلى الجهات المختصة لاستكمال التحقيقات تمهيداً لإحالتهم إلى القضاء المختص لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة بحقهم.
وذكرت الوزارة أن هذه العملية تعكس مستوى التعاون الإقليمي المتين والجهود المتواصلة لمكافحة الشبكات الإجرامية المنظمة، مبينة أن التنسيق المشترك بين الدول والإجراءات القانونية الرادعة يشكلان ضمانة حقيقية لحماية الأمن المجتمعي وتعزيز استقرار البلاد.
The Syrian Ministry of Interior announced today (Monday) the thwarting of an attempt to smuggle a shipment of drugs that was headed from Lebanon to Iraq via Syrian territory.
The ministry stated in a statement on its account on "X": The Anti-Drug Administration carried out a qualitative security operation, based on accurate information received from the General Directorate for Drug Control and Psychotropic Substances in Iraq, which resulted in thwarting the smuggling of narcotic substances that were headed from Lebanon to Iraq through Syrian territory and dismantling the network responsible for the smuggling operation.
The ministry clarified that during the operation, 4 individuals were arrested: "Y.H.", "A.D.", "N.D.", and "M.D.", and approximately 200,000 Captagon pills were seized. It indicated that the seized items were confiscated and the arrested individuals were referred to the relevant authorities to complete the investigations in preparation for their referral to the competent judiciary to take the necessary legal actions against them.
The ministry mentioned that this operation reflects the level of strong regional cooperation and ongoing efforts to combat organized criminal networks, noting that joint coordination between countries and deterrent legal measures constitute a real guarantee for protecting community security and enhancing the stability of the country.
