باشرت فرق التفتيش والهندسة العسكرية في قوات درع الوطن، اليوم (الجمعة)، تنفيذ عملية أمنية نوعية أسفرت عن اكتشاف ونزع عبوات ناسفة جرى زرعها في أحد التقاطعات الحيوية على الخط الدولي الرابط بين مأرب والعبر والوديعة، وذلك في إطار الجهود المستمرة لتعزيز الأمن وحماية حركة المواطنين والمسافرين.
وأكدت قيادة قوات درع الوطن أن العملية تأتي ضمن خطة أمنية استباقية شاملة تهدف إلى تأمين الطرق الدولية وخطوط الإمداد الحيوية ومكافحة الأعمال التخريبية التي تستهدف زعزعة الأمن والاستقرار وتعريض حياة المدنيين للخطر.
وشددت القيادة على أن قوات درع الوطن ملتزمة التزاماً كاملاً بتأمين الخط الدولي ومكافحة كل من تسول له نفسه العبث بالأمن أو تهديد سلامة المواطنين، مؤكدة أن أي محاولات تستهدف الأمن العام ستُواجه بالحزم الكامل ووفقاً للقانون ولن يُسمح بتحويل الطرق العامة إلى ساحات للفوضى أو الابتزاز.
وأضافت القيادة أن القوات تعمل بتنسيق عالٍ ويقظة مستمرة وتواصل تنفيذ مهماتها وفق مسؤولياتها الوطنية بما يضمن استمرارية الحركة الآمنة وحماية المصالح العامة، مجددة طمأنتها للمواطنين والمسافرين بأن الوضع الأمني على الخط الدولي مستقر وتحت السيطرة.
واختتمت قيادة قوات درع الوطن بالتأكيد على أن حماية المواطنين وتأمين الطرق الحيوية تمثل أولوية وطنية ثابتة، داعية الجميع إلى التعاون مع الوحدات الأمنية والإبلاغ عن أي تحركات أو أجسام مشبوهة دعماً لجهود حفظ الأمن والاستقرار.
