تستضيف الولايات المتحدة، اليوم (الجمعة)، في ولاية فلوريدا، محادثات تهدف إلى بحث الانتقال إلى المرحلة الثانية من اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار في غزة.
ويشارك في الاجتماع رئيس الوزراء ووزير الخارجية القطري محمد بن عبد الرحمن آل ثاني، ووزير الخارجية التركي هاكان فيدان، ووزير الخارجية المصري بدر عبد العاطي. ويهدف اللقاء إلى التوافق على خطوات عملية للضغط على إسرائيل وحماس للوفاء بالتزاماتهما المنصوص عليها في الاتفاق.
وأفاد عضو المكتب السياسي لحماس باسم نعيم، بأن تلك المحادثات تهدف إلى الانتقال إلى المرحلة التالية من وقف إطلاق النار في غزة، مشدداً على ضرورة أن تفضي إلى وقف "خروقات إسرائيل للهدنة".
وقال "إن الفلسطينيين يتوقعون من هذه المحادثات أن يتفق الحاضرون على وقف كافة الخروقات والانتهاكات، وأن يُلزموا الاحتلال بمقتضيات اتفاق شرم الشيخ".
يذكر أن هذا الاجتماع هو الأعلى مستوى بين الوسطاء داخل الولايات المتحدة منذ توقيع الاتفاق في أكتوبر الماضي، ويأتي في ظل قلق أمريكي متزايد من بطء تنفيذ المرحلة الثانية من الاتفاق من قبل كل من إسرائيل وحركة حماس، ورغبة الطرفين في الإبقاء على الوضع القائم، بحسب موقع «أكسيوس».
تأتي هذه التطورات في ظل تصاعد الإحباط داخل إدارة ترمب إزاء ما يصفه مسؤولون أمريكيون بسياسات إسرائيلية قصيرة النظر بشأن المرحلة القادمة من اتفاق غزة، فيما لم يتفق الطرفان المتحاربان حتى الآن على الخطوات التالية. وتطالب إسرائيل حماس بنزع سلاحها، كما تسعى إلى منعها من أي دور إداري مستقبلي في غزة. في المقابل، تؤكد حماس أنها لن تتخلى عن سلاحها، وتطالب بانسحاب كامل للقوات الإسرائيلية من القطاع.
The United States is hosting talks today (Friday) in Florida aimed at discussing the transition to the second phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
Participating in the meeting are Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty. The meeting aims to agree on practical steps to pressure Israel and Hamas to fulfill their commitments outlined in the agreement.
A member of Hamas's political bureau, Bassem Naeem, stated that these talks aim to move to the next phase of the ceasefire in Gaza, emphasizing the need for them to lead to a halt to "Israel's violations of the truce."
He said, "The Palestinians expect those present at these talks to agree on stopping all violations and breaches, and to hold the occupation accountable to the provisions of the Sharm El Sheikh agreement."
It is noteworthy that this meeting is the highest-level among mediators within the United States since the signing of the agreement last October, and it comes amid growing American concern over the slow implementation of the second phase of the agreement by both Israel and Hamas, and the desire of both parties to maintain the status quo, according to Axios.
These developments come amid rising frustration within the Trump administration regarding what American officials describe as short-sighted Israeli policies concerning the next phase of the Gaza agreement, while the two warring parties have yet to agree on the next steps. Israel demands that Hamas disarm and seeks to prevent it from any future administrative role in Gaza. In contrast, Hamas insists that it will not give up its weapons and demands a complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from the territory.
